TaylorMade Tour Preferred Golf Balls, Prior Generation (One Dozen)

Played both the TP & TPx through 2014-2015 and loved them both. The new 2016 is considerable softer than both the previous TP & TPx. So much so that I wouldn't be able to play this ball during the summer here in FL, but imagine it would be a dream cold weather ball. I really love this ball around the green, but found it slightly too spinny off the tee and long irons. I've tried the 2016 TPx and think I fit into it better overall, but wish they could get the same greenside feel of the new TP into the TPx. Hope this helps. Cheers

Product arrived on time, in great condition and as advertised. I had never played this ball before I ordered these. I saw that they were a 4 piece, and for about half the price of the ProVs so I decided to take a chance. Glad I did! They play just as well. Long and soft, and check up nicely.. (even out of the rough.) They are also very resilient, unlike many other soft cover balls that I have used. I played two rounds with the same three golf balls and not a single cut or nick in any of them.

This is my favorite tour ball for the price. Once in a while Amazon has these for a very low price. These have great greenside spin and I really like the feel when chipping and putting. Once my stock of these is out I would buy more if the price is right. I also want to try the tp5 ball and I'm always open to getting bridgestone tour balls when they are discounted on Amazon which happens often.

Very high quality ball. As others have stated, the ball compares to a ProV1, with a few small differences. This ball has a slightly softer feel, a slightly more durable cover, and I find that it flies a little bit higher. I also really like the way it feels off the putter. I actually sold a few dozen ProV1s to a buddy and used the money to buy more of these. I highly recommend.

Even though this is 2016 version of this ball it surpassed my expectations. Love the feel of this ball off the driver and irons. The distance was great I n look ne’er shots but at same time when pitching around greens the action on the greens was great. Since using this I have purchased same ball for a couple of my golf buddies. Super ball. Great price.

I have always been somewhat partial to TaylorMade and Nike for my golf balls. Now that Nike is pulling out of the golf equipment game, I was very excited to experience the greatness of this ball. It checked up around the green nicely, long and straight drives off the tee, and had a good trajectory. Will be playing these for as long as I can still buy them.

Taylor Made just produced a 5 piece ball that is the TP5 which is a top tour ball. This is the tour ball from last year. It has 4 layers versus 5 when compared with the new ball. I would put this ball ahead of the Titleist NXT Tour but not as much spin as the ProV1. A great value if you can get for under $30 a dozen.

The balls are fine it's the player hitting them that is a problem.

Superb feel from these. Usually use pro v1's but at this price more than happy to make the change to these.
