Hanes Silk Reflections Women's Control Top Toeless Ultra Sheer Pantyhose with Run-Resist

LOVE everything about these nylons. I always enjoyed having a glowing tan but in my 30s I want to avoid sun damage, & I dislike the maintanence of self/spray tans. I’m happy with my lighter skin tone these days but legs are ALWAYS much lighter (even with a tan, legs just don’t get as dark). I was looking for a sheer, subtle nylon/tight that would give me subtle darker color & be a nice “blur” effect to cover any skin irritation, bumps, etc., that I could wear with skirts, shorts, or anything that shows leg that I would ordinarily wear without tights. Tried so many, & the colors were always still too light or way too dark. Found these and I am OBSESSED. Perfect subtle color I’ve been searching for (I’m pale but have an olive skin tone & the Natural color blends well with my own color without being too pink-based). So sheer they have that perfect subtle “blur effect” but still show birthmarks or bruises so it looks like a filter without being obviously tights, & the open toe adds to the effect that I’m wearing nothing at all (I swear people are surprised every time I tell them I’m wearing something on my skin). They fit so seamlessly that once they are on it’s difficult to get a grip on the fabric to pull away from my legs. Like any sheer nylon tights, they can easily tear, but if you’re careful with putting them on they are surprisingly durable & don’t get snagged easily—however, I do always order 2 so I have a back-up (I did tear my first pair while putting them on because of my long nails). HIGHLY recommend! I have already ordered more!

Unsure of the color, I bought natural and bisque. Bisque made me look like a ghost (more than I already do) but natural gave me a nice tan! You can’t even tell I’m wearing them (see pic). However these things snag sooo easily! I got a hole in my bisque ones by catching my heel on them. And then another when my dog jumped on me. I still have my natural ones, and have worn them more than once. It takes time to put them on because I’m so careful with it. It makes my legs look amazing though so I take the time to wear them! The fit is great. There is a butt lift material on top. It feels fine and gives more security. make sure you have your whole butt in it and it’s not flattening out your butt! I didn’t notice the first time I wore them and had a pancake.

I read the reviews and saw the warning but you always think “well maybe that buyer was just too careless. Nope, nope they weren’t and I had to find out the hard way for myself. Now, these are nice looking stocking and perfect for wearing a thong type sandal but BEWARE, they are so SUPER FRAGILE! I got a run in them the first time I wore them and didn’t even snag them on anything, it happened when I went to the restroom and was pulling them back up, and I was very careful when doing this but still they popped a run. The price is not worth a one time use, which is what these are. Perhaps if Hanes made these pantyhose not quite so sheer with a tad more support in the fabric, then they might hold up a little bit better. Trust me, these are a one time use.

I was amazed at how comfortable these pantyhose were! I was concerned about the “toe holes” being tight as I have very wide feet. There is one hole for your big toe and another hole for the rest of your toes to go through. I couldn’t feel them whatsoever even after wearing them for 10 hours. Even the waist band was absolutely comfortable. It’s been years since I’ve wore pantyhose and my memory was not a good one. Are usually couldn’t wait to get home to get them off! I wear a size 10 and I am 5’7”. The size CD fit me great. At 54, my legs aren’t what they used to be. They are pale and veiny and needed help. These are just the ticket when you’re going to be wearing an open-toed shoe. They provided decent coverage without looking shiny or fake. However, I did use some leg make-up over top of my worst veins. But the pantyhose helped keep that make-up in place and I didn’t need to worry about transferring anything to furniture or my dress. My daughter couldn’t even tell I was wearing them. When I told her I was wearing pantyhose she was very confused because my exposed toes were showing off my pedicure. I also tried the bisque color but they gave an odd almost white appearance. The buff was perfect for my coloring. I’ve included a picture to show that you could see just a smidge of the toe hole band. It was really not noticeable from a normal distance. I would highly recommend these!

Lost two stars because there was a rip on my upper thigh, but it was covered by my dress and it did not grow bigger throughout the night which I can appreciate. I did have fake nails on and I think the rip occurred when I was standing and itching my leg. I’m 5’7 215lb and size GH fit me well. The product itself is very soft. I am very pale and this was the lightest pair I could find, I’d say it was a decent color match. Pros: Soft, Color matched well, good stretch, toeless Cons: Can tear pretty easily if you aren’t careful I probably would buy again just because it’s already difficult to find pantyhose if you’re pale & I don’t want to spend money on a pair that I know probably won’t match. Better to buy a pair you know will, even if you have to bring an extra pair with you.
