Easier to use than capsules
I love the ease of this crystal form. It not powdered, it similar to salt crystals. Extremely affordable if you compare dose to doe to the 99mg caps Im supposed to use a lot, and this allows me yo do it easy, in my coffee, on food, etc! AWESOME

Easy way to get more potassium in your diet
The best way to get potassium is to eat a banana, but they go bad and I can't really keep bananas at the office or while I'm traveling. Another way to get potassium is salt substitutes, which are usually made with potassium chloride, but this is salty and slightly bitter. This stuff is potassium citrate, which has a much less detectable flavor than KCl, slightly salty but also a bit sweet and not bitter. I've mixed a 1/4 tsp into a glass of Crystal Light or homemade "Greaterade" and couldn't tell the difference. As with all supplements, use in moderation and consult your doctor first if you have any medical conditions or take medications. There are a number of potential drug interactions including insulin, antibiotics, and heart drugs among others. It can also irritate your stomach if the concentration is too high.

Econonical Potassium Citrate
This powder is an economical way to get the recommended daily 4700mg. It's a good substitute for eating 7 cups of salad. 1 full teaspoon - level - gives you 1792 mg. Imagine a heaping teaspoon. I found that drinking it in plain water tasted awfully bitter. It's best to add a mixed powdered drink flavor. Your flavored drink will taste softer but a lot better than plain. When I do take high amounts of potassium, I've found that I no longer have skipped heartbeats. I tend to sleep a little better. I don't have as much sinus trouble as before. There are many You Tube videos that cover potassium benefits and what happens if you're deficient. They are very helpful. So I would recommend this NOW breand of Potassium citrate. Just keep in mind that potasium citrate powder can clump together in a bottle over the course of time, so if you don't use it much, you'll be scraping it out with a spoon. Overall a good product.

98% of females are potassium deficient
In the 60s, the USDA regulated the amount of potassium available over-the-counter to 99 mg. That’s a joke because we need 4700 mg per day. I like this product in a powdered form so that I can take the amount that I need.

Great way to get potassium into your body
For some strange reason potassium supplements are usually restricted to100mg, or better 99 strangely. This powder can be taken in any concentration. Potassium is needed on a cellular level, the RDA for potassium is 4700 for adults, which is really hard to get from foods. Most people are potassium deficient, which causes many symptoms such as muscle cramps, bloating, water retention, insomnia, blood pressure issues etc. I have had calf cramps and severe insomnia for many years, thinking it's magnesium I need to up. Until I heard about potassium and it's many benefits, also to the nervous system. I am happy to say I can already see an improvement by supplementing about 1000 - 2000mg per day on days where I am sure my diet did not supply the recommended 4700mg. Foods highest in potassium are potatoes, sweet potatoes, avocados, bananas, spinach (cooked), salmon. Heck, even a cup of my beloved coffee has 120mg of it. Guys, coffee is good for you....:))))

Great for home made electrolytes
Completely dissolves in water unlike some other types of potassium.

10% of your daily value in just 1/4tsp
You can get 10% of your daily value in just 1/4 of a teaspoon. I can't really taste it in my iced tea, or sodas. It's better than worrying about a Rx and bothering about refills. OTC supplements only allow you 2%. Although it's in powder form, it's easier to swallow and easier to digest. You get a lot for your money! Most Rx meds don't exceed 1.4g = 10% per pill for Potassium replacement. I think the highest is either 14% or 16% in dv? I'm not too familiar with this area of info. Also, I don't have my Rx information any longer, to draw from either. I apologise.

it tastes so bad it would make most humans puke and the dose cannot be more than half table spoon which is as much potassium in as in one banana. better eat a banana or a potato than dissolving this pure powder that your body probably isnt even absorbing it as well as from real food
