I was brought up eating kippers and eggs and recently got a craving to have it again. When these arrived I fried up some onion scrambled eggs then warmed the fish in the pan. Amazingly there was no fishy smell and the dish tasted great. A satisfactory and healthy substitute for bacon which wasn’t missed. Will be buying this again!

I was trying to recreate a childhood dish that my dad would often make on a Sunday morning, but have not been able to find the same product. He would open a package of vacuum-packed smoked kippers and pan fry with fired onions. Wonderful! These are much smaller and in a light brine but have much the same flavor so I am quite happy with them.

The flavor was decent , good value for the price . Great for picnics and as a breakfast snack . The packaging and preparation was great.

Wow! I'd never had kippers before, and have been looking to find a substitute for bacon and sausage at breakfast. I was surprised how much I like these! Fantastic smoky flavor and aroma, and not at all "fishy". Really enjoy them on top of a bagel with cream cheese, or in eggs. The fact they're actually healthy is blowing my mind.

I expected a stronger smoke flavor, but this is very mild. Overall, the fish was tasty and paired well with a thick cracker. The price is a good value, and the tins are sturdy. The "best by" date is four years from now, so they'll keep in the pantry for a good long time.

Served with white rice makes for a filling lo cal diet dinner. I eat it regularly . love it. I wish I could eat more. But a diet is a diet.

These were pretty good! And the cans are completely filled with fish. Great for the office, camping, hiking snacks!You get 3 cans per order.
