No handyman required, simplicity to install is a big plus! All required pieces, like filter sediment pads, already pre-installed, plus extras included for future replacements. Immediately took a shower to see and feel the impacts on my hair and skin of no more chlorine showers. IT IS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I felt like there was something missing from my skin (of course this was the absence of harsh chemicals)...all my skin felt smooth, soft and not dry...the skin on my face felt taught and like i had put moisturizer lotion on it...VERY PLEASENT OVERALL AMAZINGLY DIFFERENT COMFORTING EXPERIENCE! I tasted the water, couldn't taste anything. That's the way it should be if the chlorine and other toxins were truly removed. VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS LITTLE H2O GIZMO...GET IT YOU & YOUR FAMILY WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! My wife will try it to see if it's true that her hair stops falling off with this device. Build quality, functionally, durability and ease of installation and part replacement is so ready a monkey could do it. I definitely recommend this product, the value is worth every penny. Better water quality and impeccable water pressure. Can update after 2 months of use, I'm glad I did it. The sediment pads that came out of the 1st filter were absolutely REVOLTING!! SO do yourselves a favor and set a reminder to change them monthly as directed. When I went to replace them I ran water through the filter itself again and still brown dirty water coming out so I would also advise to keep extra filters on hand as well for quick and easy changes.

So I got this yesterday afternoon and installed it right away. The installation took seconds and they were nice enough to include a whole roll of teflon tape (30ft!). I had heard people had difficulty opening the filter but it opened easily for me - I checked the sediment pads were in there and it looked like a hefty filter setup. I also bought a new shower head and I was so excited to shower this morning and my excitement was definitely warranted - this was the best shower EVER! It is not fully describable how it makes the water feel, it’s soft, silky, smooth - it’s honestly incredible. My sensitive skin feels so good even hours later. Their one filter is the top shower filter on Amazon - this one has more filtration, more revitalization, and sediment pads for a couple dollars more. Get this one, it is life changing.

Conclusion/Takeaway: This Aqua Bliss showerhead filter takes any nasty chlorinated city water, introduces some mystical vitamins/nutrients and thus converts it into holy shower water! - This product really does produce shower water that exceeds expectations, however it might leak a bit at the connection point (inside shower, so not a problematic leak). - Buy this and enjoy your holy water infused with magic vitamins & minerals shower! Details (for this interested): The results listed in the other positive reviews on this product are legit, the product does what the product description says it will. Prior to buying & installing this Aqua Bliss showerhead filter, everytime my wife showered she left behind more hair than at a barber's shop. How she could lose that much hair on a daily basis & still have a full head of hair shall remain one of nature's great mysteries. Fast forward to any given date after we began using this showerhead filter and there's no longer a volleyball-sized pile of hair on the floor after she showers. Anyways, this product produces shower water that makes your skin etc feel like it has been kissed by a unicorn. However, there's room for improvement in either the material that the outer housing is constructed from, or room for improvement in the threaded connection assembly. I've tried every trick in the plumber's book, but there's still water leaking from the the connection point (inside shower space) where this product threads onto shower elbow. Note: the aforementioned "plumber's book" is proverbial, besides plumbers don't read!;) Regardless, don't be deterred [from buying this product] by the potential for a bit of water leakage at the filter's connection point. I'm only mentioning it just in case Aqua Bliss's NPD, Engineering, or Quality team reads these posts - if that's you reading this: improve the design of the connector, or construct the connector out of brass vs plastic.

This is a game changer for me. I have sensitive dry skin. Our water is hard and treated with a lot of chemicals and every spring it is flushed out with chlorine. I itch horribly for weeks to the point of bleeding. Eczema is horrible during this time. Our shower head also needed to be replaced due to all the heads being clogged, despite cleaning it. We lost over 1/2 of our heads so our water pressure was pretty much non existent. I bought this with the new shower head. After showering, I slept that night instead of itching. My hair (I have curly hair that lacks moisture) became softer over the next week or so and the itching and eczema disappeared. I could not believe this filter would help that much. Fast forward 1 month- time to change the 1st double filters. You change these monthly. I was shocked. They were almost black and gross. No wonder I was itchy and our faucets get corroded. Keep in mind this was also during the time we had hazardous air quality due to fires from Canada. We do not normally have this issue. Month 2, looked the same. The large filter is changed out every 6 months however, I think I am going to change mine every 4-5 months. The only negative is that it is hard to unscrew. I read this in previous reviews so I made sure to unscrew it several times prior to installing. Definitely do not over tighten. It is sort of a pain to change out the filters because it takes down my shower head, but I can do it myself. Best money I have spent. Highly recommend.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. Item is made of cheap material and the plastics are burning off into the shower filter. Completely disintegrating into the filter and into the water. I reached out the company and they disregarded my message and did not offer a refund or an exchange. Do not buy this product as it is a scam and will make your water worse. It also leaked from the middle. Really wish I had not of purchased this item. Would not recommend.

This filter shape with the twisted design is extremely difficult to unscrew. I can always open a very tight jar lid with some effort but this shower head just taken out of the box before any use was almost impossible to remove. I tried with all my effort, bare handed, and with a damp towel. I just about gave up when I noticed it was starting to turn very little with each effort. I just kept at it for a while and it did eventually turn very slowly apart. Part of the issue I believe is the rubber oring had no silicon grease on it. And the housing was clearly overtightened. Normally when an oring is used, it is not how tight you get the two parts together but rather the oring that does all the work to seal. The other issue is that the twisted design prevents getting a good grip. You're hands touch the edges of the twist design rather than the whole part. And the edges are thin and make it difficult. It would be easier if they just used a smooth outer shell with no twist. I highly recommend anyone buying this shower head filter to try to remove the two outer filter housing first before installing it. If you cannot remove the two pieces then you will not be able to replace the filter. I would recommend sending it back and buying the unit with the smooth shape. I have that unit and it is much easier to remove because you get a better grip on the smooth housing. And that unit uses a silicon oring rather than the black rubber oring on this twisted design unit

I spent quite some time researching shower head filters, and the filtration media used in them, before ordering this AquaBliss SF400 filter. The AquaBliss has a good looking case in addition to being really good at filtration. The filter is well built and does not have a notable impact on water flow. A winner on all counts! - My water company changed something about a year ago and my water has had an odd smell to it ever since. After showering I could smell this odor on my skin, so I decided to get a shower filter. This SF400 filter has removed all but the slightest hint of this mystery odor while showering, and I no longer smell any chlorine at all. Really, my water has almost no odor at all now - and that was my objective! The filtration media in the SF400 is very complete, including filtration for various levels of sediment, THM, lime, scale, and chlorine. The filter also includes a very effective redox media made from copper and zinc. In addition to removing the stuff you don't want in your water, the filter also adds some stuff to it that you do want - such as Vitamin C, zeolite, and tourmaline. I wasn't looking for these water treatments in a filter, but I am certainly not opposed! One of my major concerns with a shower filter was losing overall water pressure to the shower head as my home’s water pressure is already mediocre. The SF400's "high flow" claims along with the quality media inside attracted me to this filter. I was unable to confirm what the gallons-per-minute (GPM) or pressure loss was from using this filter would be before buying it, but I was able to calculate the impact after installation. I measured out 5 gallons of water into a bucket and marked it off. I then timed how long it took to fill the bucket before and after the filter install to determine the GPM loss from the filter. The results surprised me. With just a bare pipe, I have a GPM of 3.53. With just the filter installed, the GPM dropped to 3.13. That means with my 55 PSI water pressure I only have an 11% loss in GPM using this filter. That's impressive because 100% of the water passes through the SF400 filter (there is no bypass). But more importantly, after installing the shower head on the filter, the pressure loss was effectively non-existent! My shower head without the filter installed was providing 2.62 GPM. After the filter was installed, I got 2.5 GPM. This means that the shower head itself was the long pole in the tent in restricting water flow. This also means that this filter has enough water flow to fully power a 2.5 GPM shower head - even with mediocre water pressure! Overall, the AquaBliss SF400 filter is very impressive and has met or exceeded all of my expectations and is highly recommend.
