Despite trying to keep the number of baby items to minimum and being sceptical about the need for this bin, i decided to follow one of my friend’s advice. And omg, this is one of the best items we got! It’s an easy to use, sturdy, medium size bin that keeps the odour of nappies at bay. The bin bag is also sturdy and doesn’t rip. The original cartrige lasts for long time and can be reused with refill bags. Good value for money.

It’s an amazing piece of equipment, I bought one for my daughter when she had a baby and I wore another one for my son so that he could put his puppies poo bags in it when they were in the puppy pen 🤣

Perhaps I expected too much but after a couple of days smells do somehow escape - I bought this to avoid the daily bin emptying chore, so I guess this has extended that to 2 or 3 days now. It's quite a clever way they seal the nappies in, but it's clearly not perfect. However it looks a lot better than the old bin it replaced and it does buy a couple of days between empties (though those empties now smell a lot worse!)

I've been using this for 10 months now and had no issues or complaints. It does a good job of containing the odour of smelly nappies, even if you are reminded of how bad they are each time you lift the lid to empty it! It has stayed clean, easy to assemble, and has the capacity for about 5-7 days worth of nappies for us. If you have the space and prefer not to change the bin as often, maybe go for the taller one. Either way, I'd recommend.

Great product but cost of tommee Tippee refill bags without plastic insert is insane!! I ended up buying a second bin with 12 refills at £39 in prime deals as it worked out cheaper than buying refill cartridge at £76.89!!! For 16 or even the bags to refill the cartridge £47.49 for 12. They also claim 1 lasts 1 month but with newborn ours is lasting 1 week. You can get cheaper refill bags but don't last as long but probably still better value for money. Come on tommee Tippee do your bit to cut back on plastic waste and make refill bags cheaper!
