A dependable and effective monitor. Comfortable enough to wear overnight.
I waited a few months before reviewing this product to test it out and make a determination on its quality, dependability as a monitor, and effectiveness, and I have to say I've been pleased so far. I did have to return the first ring I received, which didn't seem to work correctly out if the box, but customer service was a breeze to deal with and I had a new ring at my door before I had even returned the original. I did have to play around with placement as I found that personally speaking, placing the ring on my middle finger provided the most consistent readings. I wear it comfortably throughout the night to record fluctuations in my oxygen and heart rates. The companion app was easy to install and sign up for and gives a good array of these readings organized by date. I would say the only con is that it can be a little difficult to determine the battery level, as it's not immediately obvious, but all in all, this is a great product.

Nice device, exceptional service
The device is nice and well-built. It was easy to understand and use and captures information regularly. Downloading of logs is easy via the laptop, though, we wish it had a longer memory to dump readings once a week or so. The battery life works as advertised. The screen is bright and can be read even outdoors easily. It is used by my aging parents to reduce concerns with Oxygen saturation in the blood, and it works great. Our device finger band broke after 2 months. As it was out of Amazon's return period, contacted the the customer service. The customer service was amazing, and they resolved it promptly by sending us a replacement. Would recommend the device if you are looking for one.

Great while it lasted -- but, it lasted less than 2 years
The O2Ring is a game changer in terms of my particular form of sleep apnea (I hold my breath in my sleep for some unfathomable reason!). The O2Ring detects the dips in blood O2 that result and vibrates until I wake up and get my breathing in order. Since I’ve been using the O2Ring I get a much better night’s sleep, and no longer awake with that characteristic headache, nor the tiredness that used to plague my productivity and peace. I gave the ring 4 stars out of 5 for two reasons: 1. It tends to “false alarm” when I’m awake — like when I need to get up to go to the bathroom. It seems to misinterpret my wakeful movement, and show this as low SO2 on it’s little screen. And, if that false reading gets below the threshold I’ve set, the thing starts buzzing its precious little head off! Not only annoying, but also it damages the sleep rating that it will assess in the morning when I rise for reals. 2. The battery lasted less that 2 years. Also, I have large hands so it was too tight on my thumb, which is the recommended placement (I would wake up with a numb thumb). It functions well on my index finger without strangling it — though, maybe not wearing it in the recommended position has something to do with the false alarms I mentioned above. So, I tried replacing the battery, but apparently I failed. It displays the charging animation when I connect the charger, but when disconnected from the charger, it displays the time, buzzes then shows the "I'm turning off" icon, then it goes dark -- forever! I can see the red LED, on the inside of the ring, faintly flashing, so, it's still looking for a finger, but when I put it on, NOTHING! Perhaps one of the lines in the ribbon cable that runs from the mainboard to the sensor assembly cracked. Bottom line, I've yet to prove that an O2Ring can be revived when it's battery dies. OR, maybe it WASN'T the battery that went bad. Bottom-bottom line: the thing only lasted around a year.

Great product, easy to use.
Great product! This does everything I hoped it would. Setup was easy with an app. Then you just wear the ring, it powers up when you put it on and the data gets stored in the ring. It recharges via micro USB. You can view live stats on the ring or in the app. You can also open the app later and the data automatically downloads to give a history of oxygen levels and heartbeat along with a motion. It allowed me to see when oxygen levels go lower and for how long. It has alarms if your oxygen drops below a level that you select. The ring can vibrate a lot, a little or not at all. The app can also sound an alarm if you want that. I’m close to getting an advanced CPAP so I can now see charts for before it’s usage and then during use once I have my machine.

A reliable 02 Ring with accurate results
I’ve had a Wellue Ring 2 years and it still works great! I didn’t have a CPAP machine then but now I do and it comes in handy letting me know how I sleep with a CPAP machine . The Ring report the next morning shows my O2 level & WHEN it drops. It also shows the range of my pulse rate and my motion throughout the night. I can see on the reports how my motion (sleeping on my back) leads to an O2 drop . When it drops vibration/buzzing from the ring wakes me and I turn to my side where I breathe better. I like that the report also shows the overall O2 score for the night. Last night it was 9.9 🙂 Description: The ring is lightweight & comfortable. It has a foam lining enabling it to fit several sizes of fingers . It vibrates /buzzes when your 02 level drops. …Advice: When you receive the Ring charge it & then put their app on your Bluetooth device which automatically pairs with your ring when held close to your Bluetooth device ( such as a cell phone, computer or pad).

Impressive Wearable monitor. Great computer and Smartphone Apps. Easy to use and valueable Reports.
"The Wellue O2 Ring is easy to use and helps check oxygen and heart rates while you sleep. It vibrates if your oxygen is too low, so you can stay safe. The battery lasts all night, and the app lets you see and share reports with your doctor. People like it because it’s comfy, works well, and has awesome customer service if there’s a problem. If you have sleep or breathing issues, this ring might be really helpful!" THis can be valuable if you have aging parents are concerned with Oxygen saturation in the blood. Or are suspicious of undiagnosed sleep apnea. Reports are simple to understand and can lead to awareness of potential concerns. Wearing the ring on your finger takes a couple of days to become aware of the extra size to prevent from bumping it accidentally. Charging and data sync from the provided USB is a breeze.
