Works for a 2007 Dodge Durango
When I realized my Durango needed new support lifts, I found this product. This product is not OEM quality when you compare the two. That doesn't mean this isn't a quality product. It fits wells and easy to install. The tension is a good, but a bit strong. It will lift the gate easily and may be a bit more aggressive, but I imagine over time. Overall, due to the quality build, fit, functionality, and price point makes this a great product to consider. I would recommend.

Perfect!
I have a 2007 Durango with the power lift gate. The gate started closing the moment it opened fully and then eventually would not open at all. When I manually opened it, it would not stay open on its own. These worked perfectly! Easy to install, took literally about five minutes. Now my lift gate actually opens smoother than it did before. Best price, quick shipping, totally happy!!!

Delivered defective
In the package there were two struts as advertised- the package had oil all over and one of the struts was useless….. Don’t buy these

Excellent replacement.
I have a 2005 Dodge Durango, non-power lift gate, and it stopped opening all the way. We got tired of hitting our heads on the tail gate, so I figured I would give these at try and now my lift gate opens all the way. In addition, the lift gate opens very easily compared to before. These are a very solid item, and are very easy to install.

Newbie install, single-handedly. Works like a charm (Durango 2007 LTD w auto-hatch).
The hardest part is removing the old struts. These literally just click-in, and while this is the first time I did this job I even managed to do so on my own, supporting the gate with my back (careful not to drop it). The struts seem pretty strong, even 1 pretty much lifted the gate. The 2 new ones may be a bit too strong, as it now requires quite some power to bring the gate down. But we just the automatic / electric more now, just as well. Pretty happy so far !

Not that impressed. Really does not have much power like it leads you to believe.

good quality and easy install
These are super strong. Had them on several months now. When I release the lift gate I have to watch my face because it the gate jumps up. Not to hard to push down though. Perfect.
