21st Century Glucosamine 250 mg and Chondroitin 200 mg Capsules, 120 Count

Glucosamine doesn't work for me, but it helps my pugs a LOT and at a decent price. I can ooen the capsule and pour into their food. I recommend this product. For myself, I may need to order a higher dosage of the same product.

I have been taking glucosamine in a variety of brands, strengths and combinations for over 30 years. Non of the brands brought me any remarkable results and this simple, low cost 21st Century brand is just as good as any I have tried. I like the small capsule, twice a day gets the job done.

This is the only glucosamine and chondroitin I have found that I can swallow. They are generally super big and the ones I got that were small I needed to take six for one dose. Thank goodness I found these.

We actually give this to our cat instead of Cosequin. It costs a fraction of what Cosequin costs and it only requires one capsule to give him his required dosage. Most importantly, this formulation is very effective for his joint pain. He clearly moves around much better while on this product. This formulation features Glucosamine Sulfate (a natural product) vs Glucosamine Hydrochloride (a cheaper synthetic variant) that is used in Cosequin. Why does that matter? Glucosamine Sulfate is the substance that was tested in humans and found to be effective for joint pain. Glucosamine Hydrochloride while cheaper to manufacture, appears to be less effective (if effective at all).
