Bit fiddly but all works as it should

Have 2 x 2 kayaks and these hold them on very securely

Easy to install, feel robust and secure, recommend buying proper kayak strops to make securing easier ,

It took a while to assemble due to poor alignment of holes but once fitted worked well carrying two sea kayaks to Scotland. However when i tried to use the cradles for another trip the brackets gripping the roof bars bent when tightening (NOT OVER TIGHTENING) and wouldn’t grip anymore and the cradles could slide from side to side. The photo shows how thin and hence soft the top plate is, and how it has deformed compared to the thicker and stiffer bottom plate. The manufacturers seem to have gone out of their way to save a few pence on material thickness transforming an otherwise sturdy product i to one that is flimsy and dangerous. I’m glad I noticed this before setting off as the kayaks could have slid dangerously when driving around corners. I will take the cradles to the tip and look for better quality options

Once assembled the J bars seem sturdy and strong. The straps provided however are very flimsy and aren't even long enough to go around a standard kayak.

Carrying 2 heavyish kayaks. Fit is fine and very secure. Easy to fit and take off

I am very satisfied.

Or the sturdiest but does the job I wouldn’t trust the straps that come with it! I had to strap the kayaks to the roof bars on my van just for piece of mind.and the brackets that attach to the roof bars aren’t very strong at all!!

La estructura es solida, y el kayak se ata bien, pero las fijaciones a la baca no son firmes. Eso permite a las J moverse por la barra y girar. Tuve que parar varias veces, e incluso me paró la Guardia Civil porque se habían movido y el kayak estaba girado. Además, el kayak se abolló. Las devolveré.
