This is a quality pendant about the size of an American dime. The detail is great; evidence of the superior construction of the medal.

Beautiful but very very small.

I bought the small version (there is a listing with a bigger one) to put on another necklace that my husband Michael gave to me. I love this tiny medal as it is very detailed for such a small piece. Also, it seems to be well made. I’m not sure if it is really solid silver as the listing states as it is so super light weight, but that fact may also be the reason it is so light. Alternatively, it may be hollow and not solid. I don’t know. But, it’s such a pretty piece and the most important thing is that it will hold up. (I’ll update the review in a while to tell you if it will). I’d say, it is very gift able as it comes in a little box, but you should order it to you first to remove the plastic they wrap the box in. That’s just me, however. Anyway. I’m really satisfied with my purchase.

I’m very pleased with this, it’s a beautiful small St. Michael medal in .925 silver, sized appropriately for bracelet attachment. The image is very detailed, very well done. The medal appears to be, and the Italian manufacturer included a note indicating that it is not coated with any protectant or anti-tarnish. This is an absolute plus for me, I prefer my sterling to age naturally and pick up some patina. The clear coats that some sterling jewelry come with make it look fake and costumey in my opinion, and those coated surfaces scratch without tarnishing which I think looks terrible after some time. This is a very, very nice St. Michael medal, you won’t be disappointed!
