In the first photo you can see the size of it in comparison to some other travel sets I have, which are very popular. The Aquafina is next to the kuretake gansai tambi, bellow the cotman Windsor and newton sketcher and van gogh. I have been meaning to get set for a while since I have heard great things about the watercolor themselves, but I wanted this one set in particular cause of the palette and its size. I don't like the metal boxes of other sets by the same maker, they seem bulky with lots of waste space, little mixing area etc. This set is still rather small considering you get 24 colors. The box is slim, light, very compact and great quality. You have plenty of space for mixing cause you can also take the tray where the watercolors are out of the box. Just for this alone I give them 10 plus! The color selection is very well thought even includes a portrait pink which comes rather handy as is not that easy mixing skin tones on the go, it also includes white which most traditional watercolorist usually despise 😀 but it can be quite useful when it comes to mixing colors if you don't want to just waterdown colors. Colors mix beautifully retaining their vibrancy and translucency. They are easily reactivated almost as Russian or Ukrainian makers although they are not moist or sticky as they tend to be. You can layer or do glazing. The greatest surprise was to see granulation in most of the colors which seems to be absent in today modern sets, some makers even advertise the lack of it, which is part of the character of this delightful medium. Lightfastness is also very good if that is one of your concerns. This is simply a great quality set for the serious student and artist on the go. Great palette of traditional colors great for landscaping, urban sketching, botanicals, portrait etc. Excellent price and product. Made in England.

I am a complete beginner to watercolor, as in I've never painted a thing before 2 days ago. I wasn't expecting much but I absolutely love these paints. They are creamy and pigmented and the 24 half-pan selection is perfect as it covers all the main primaries, secondaries and earth tones which is great for beginners who are not yet comfortable with color theory and mixing. The palette itself is made of high-quality white plastic and feels quite sturdy. It also comes with a round No. 4 brush which is good for smaller details. Overall, I LOVE this palette and think it's the perfect beginner watercolor palette based on quality, usability and price. Attached are my swatch sheet and a few basic paintings to give you a sense of what this palette can do.

The paint is a nice thick quality, mixes well with water so that you can get the consistency you are looking for.

This watercolor was a pleasant surprise. The set offers a good selection of standard colors. There were no negatives with these. They re-wet easily, mix well and lift well if needed. The real surprise was how easy it was to control the value. The range is very broad. You can go from very subtle to bright and bold. Typically, my palette includes W&N artist grade, Daniel Smith, M. Graham and COR. These compare favorably with those named. Only wish it came in a tin box vs plastic

For the price, this is a very good palette. I admit, I bought it for the case. On the other hand, when doing the swatch, the colors are very beautiful. What is to be considered, the pans are a little smaller than the half pans. I am very satisfied with these watercolors. Thanks

Excellent paint set. Colors appear to be artist grade quality and color selection well thought out. Paintbrush is great too. Can't beat it for the price!! Love this set. I got one for my mom after buying one for myself. She was thrilled with it!

I have been using this ones for almost a year and they are great for my little drawings. I like the variety of colors.

Paleta para principiantes muy completa, con una calidad similar a Cotman. E Han elegido bastante bien los colores de esta paleta (excepto quiza el Leaf Green que me parece demasiado brillante, y poco útil, y los 3 amarillos, pues dos de ellos se parecen mucho; pero eso se arregla mezclando con rojo cálido). Godets ligeramente mas pequeños de lo normal pero se compensa con variedad y una calidad mas que aceptable, incluyendo algunos colores poco comunes en estas paletas, como el Prussian Blue y el Peach pink. Además, la caja es increíblemente delgada y no muy grande, poco más que un telefono móvil. Se cierra estupendamente asi que es perfecta para llevar en el bolso o el bolsillo. Esto, los colores elegidos, y el precio, hacen que esté encantada. La marca es poco conocida en España pero muy común en el Reino Unido, creo que llevan varios cientos de años haciendo pinturas, igual que W&N. La experiencia se nota. Compra la paleta de principiantes que quieras, pero no una de estas de fabricantes sin historia, yo lo hice y me arrepentí

Une bonne petite boîte d’aquarelle d’étude. Le plastique de la boîte est de très bonne qualité, les godets bien remplis. Le choix des couleurs est classique mais la pigmentation est bonne voir très bonne pour certaines couleurs. Personnellement je les trouvent plus intense que les cotman .

Bien pour débuter mais le blanc n'est pas du tout couvrant déçue
