SEASKY Bike Handlebar MountThis is my review of the Seasky Handle Bar camera mount. I purchased this mount to use on the handle bars of my motorcycle to record my rides. I had been using a Ram Mount style ball mount to hold my Campark 4K Action Cam (which I covered in another review) but that style of mount vibrated too much. My footage came out terribly shaky even with the cameras EIS enabled.This mount is alloy aluminum not plastic like most mounts. That was a nice check mark in the plus column. It came with 2 different sized screws to accommodate different handle bar diameters. The bars on my motorcycle are 7/8” diameter, so the longer screws worked perfectly.The screw that connects your camera case to the mount is of a wing nut style, making it a lot easier on your fingers to tighten/loosen without any tools. This mount will accommodate any Go Pro style camera case.It came with an additional attachment to allow you to mount your action camera to a tripod if necessary. (See photo) It also included the Allen wrench to tighten the screws with. Once mounted, the base can be rotated 360° and the camera can be pivoted up and down. Since most action cams have a pretty wide field of view, getting the perfect position should be a piece of cake.Once I tightened it down to my handle bars it has remained rock steady and holds my camera perfectly secure. For the price point, this is an excellent value.

This SEASKY Mountain Bike Handlebar Mount is made of heavy duty components that will not break in normal use and should give many years of service, however, there are two issues: the double yoke mount which is tightened by the butterfly screw is very smooth and was unable to hold my Sony FX 3000 Handcam upright when doing descents at speed - it would continuously flop over and I became worried that I might break the threads if I tightened it any more. I solved this by inserting a piece of 200 grit emery paper into the female yoke slots so the male yoke flanges had a friction surface to bind onto and when tightened to a normal level the camera remained upright. The second issue is that the rotational mount (which is spring loaded and notched to lock into whatever rotational angle you choose) is not very secure and again when doing descents at speed the spring mounting would allow a significant level of movement causing the recording to be shaky, even with the anti-shake setting engaged on the camera.The GOOD news is that I reported this to the manufacturer who advised they had been previously advised of the issues and that a new model was forthcoming and that they would replace my purchase free of charge ......much to my pleasant surprise they shipped not only a replacement but included two other models of their mounts which now allows for different camera placement. So full kudos to the supplier!I have not yet had the opportunity to test out the replacement or any of the other mounts they supplied, but most certainly the construction of one of the other mounts looks to be extremely secure.

I am a VLOGGER who vlogs while riding my recumbent trike. I have three cameras going all the time and these two mounts are critical to the success of my filming. Why? Number one, they are made so well, perfectly I would say.The wing nut style is fantastic!!! Perfectly made! So easy to tighten and adjust on the fly.The construction of the mounts is of aluminum and they are beyond well designed and manufactured! They are utterly amazing. The rotation is smooth and perfect but to get to the rotation you have to mount the mounts.These are the most secure mounts I have ever used. The bolts and hardware are the best I have ever used. The security of the mount is achieved by two bolts and perfectly drilled threads so it can be Allen wrenched down as tight as needed. The inner aspect is lined with rubber and is completely protective of whatever you mount it on.This is fantastic and I am so glad I bought two!

I purchased these to put on my Harley. Attaches to the GoPro. Perfectly attaches to the handlebars perfectly holds up during riding there’s no shake. There’s no unfocused. Really great quality filming while on the move.

Nice quality material but the mount is trash. No matter how tight I tighten up the screws, the mount always moves. I thought the 360 rotation was a good idea but not for mounting to a bike or a moving vehicle. Any little vibration on the road will make your go pro footage look like crap. Since it has the option to turn 360 degrees, it’s very loose and moves easily when you have a camera on it.

I mountain bike a lot and finally bought an Insta 360 2. Mounted this on my handle bar fine, but when we added the camera, the vice that should have tightened to hold it in place didn't. Not sure if we were missing a piece, but the camera would just flop forward. We have had a long winter in Utah, so I didn't try it out before the return window closed. Seems like it is well made (the vice and other components) but it didn't work for me.
