Kai Pure Komachi 2 KS5084 Utility Knife, 6-Inch, Emerald Green, Small

Had one of these in a set for years and left it behind at a potluck. This is a great replacement. Easy to hold and use. Cuts great. Easy to sharpen when needed and holds its edge for a good amount of time. Great for cutting meat - I use mine to make jerky, prep chicken and beef and pork. Also nice for veggies. All around a nice knife and glad to have it.

Own a set of these knives. This is the size i use most often... I broke mine after several years of use. This was a good replacement and saved me from having to buy a complete set....

This is a great size utility knife. For when you don't need the full chef knife but the little guy isn't going to do it either. I've had this brand before and they are such a good value. The blades are very thin, so even at this low price point with what is surely very basic materials, they can get a scalpel sharp edge. The flipside of this is that I would not do anything really rough with them like try to cut through bone or frozen items. The plastic handle is comfy enough.

We were introduced to these knives by our sushi chef while vacationing in Costa Rica. Fabulous! Slices fruits, vegetables, meats, etc., flawlessly and without effort. We haven't yet found anything that "drags" on these knives' coated surface, and they stay sharp much longer than anything we've used before. Note that the super-sharp cutting edge of a Komachi knife does NOT like to encounter a glass, quartz, or glass surface, which can cause blade nicks and/or chips. Highly recommended.

They feel just like the Costco version I had been using for years. So great to have a new sharp set! I had forgotten what truly sharp knives feel like!

I use this as a camping knife. I purchased this as a replacement as I lost my first one during a group camp trip. It's cheap enough that I don't mind using it in not ideal conditions (outside on imperfect cutting surfaces), but still has a great sheath so I can pack it away without worrying about cutting anything.

After using it for a few months I changed from 4 star to 5 star. Sharp and great knife. Not sure if you’re supposed too but I use all the time and when finished I put it in the dishwasher. Great knife… ***** I’m into my Senior years and I think this is probably the most comfortable and sharpest knife I’ve owned. Had it for about three months now and I’ve used it just about every day… 👍🏼👍🏼
