UPDATE: IT HAS NOW BEEN 10 MONTHS SINCE I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT AND SADIE IS STILL HERE! I bought this because I read that the best thing to do for cancer management is to cut the carbs and support the healthy cells. My dog was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and was shown to have cancer in her spleen, liver and lymph nodes. I was told it is a very aggressive cancer, back in August 2019. They gave her 2-4 weeks to live. I did lots of research and added this powder to homemade dog food with hamburger, turkey, and veggies, along with salmon oil and Wellness Salmon dog food, and my dog eats it up. I dosed it double, as instructed, for the first couple of weeks and then knocked her down to 1 tsp a day. I know it is the combination of all of what I am feeding and supplementing her (Vitamin C, Chinese Herbs, and Quercetin & Nettles for allergies, and now CBD) but I really feel like this powder has helped. My dog still has lots of energy, more than she did 10 months ago, and her coat is softer than it has ever been. My vet is amazed at how well she is doing. Unlike another review said, my dog loves the taste of this and I highly recommend this product along with a low carb diet.

Well my pointer seems to be ok with it. I gotta say,,, It seems as though he is feeling allot better and I have noticed his lumps have gotten smaller,,,,,still detectable but smaller.As far as the flavor rating,, Myself personally,, I first thought,,"Oh boy that stinks,Hank's not gonna eat that"!Well he does but he does not polish the bowl licking it clean.I'm ok with that cause I know hes getting all of it on his food.My dogs 75 pounds so he gets 1-1/2 scoops in the morning and 1-1/2 at night,, sometimes he gets 2 scoops in the morn.He has not balked at his food so it meets his approval.I have great hopes for this, and am seeing a difference in his behavior so I figure its working as it should!I will keep purchasing and monitoring my boys lumps.

This product has done more to alleviate my senior dog’s chronic cough than prescription medication has. After trying the prescription meds which caused significant gastric issues, I had to try something holistic. This did the trick! He takes it in his food every morning, and it has reduced the chronic coughing by about 80 percent!! I was very skeptical, but kept giving it to him and it is working great!! It has not interfered with his diabetes and Cushing medication. It is worth trying if you have exhausted other options. I prefer this natural substance over meds any day.

I bought this product before knowing much about medicinal mushrooms. This looks like a fine product to me, and would work just fine for a generally healthy dog. This review is for those people who might be using this product for a dog diagnosed with cancer. It is important to make a distinction between mushroom powder and mushroom powder extract. This is not a mushroom powder extract. A mushroom powder extract will have much greater immune support for a dog because it contains much higher amounts of Beta-D-glucans, which are one of the key active components in medicinal mushrooms. Do a little research online.

My 20-lb. Senior dog has Lymphoma and various tumors that may or may not be related. He daily takes vet prescribed Prednisone and Gabapentin AND his regular vet and oncologist have also suggested a few other important supplements, including Turkey Tail mushrooms for immune support. Following the recommendation on the container, I mix 1/8 tsps in his food once a day. He eats this mixture without problems. He is doing really well and is living a good life much longer than the oncologist had initially said. The Mushroom Matrix is a very good value for many doses.

After 7 months he had an eight cm new growth on his spleen and another one noted on his heart after 8 months with a tiny one on each of his four legs. He passed at 8 months. Maybe I'm Unity would have been more effective but at 8 times the cost.*************************************A University of Pennsylvania study resulted in dogs sometimes living more than a year with turkey tail mushroom and no chemo. The chemo dogs died around 90 days. The cancer study was for internal hemangiocarsoma. They used a different brand called I'm Unity for the study, which is much more expensive than this. Anyway our dog was given 90 days to live 60 days ago. He currently has no signs of tumors after 60 days on Matrix turkey tail mushroom, spirulina (micro algae) and a lightly cooked raw organic meat, fish and vegetable diet. He dances around like a puppy these days.

If you want to buy this program because you think this could be a cure for your dog who got cancer, it is likely that you will be disappointed. I used this product as well as some other turkey tail mushroom products for my dog. It made no difference. I am sorry to give you the bad news. People talk about turkey tail mushrooms because of very limited study done by Penn State, only fifteen dogs were enrolled. My understanding is that this mushroom is also given to humans with cancer where serious studies show that it provides a very limited benefit. But at least this brand is not expensive and they have very good customer service.
