Worked on Ford after slight modification
Had to reduce the diameter of the unthreaded portion of the Ford tool. It did not fit the bore of the crankshaft of my 2018 Explorer. Do not force it, you will most likely damage the threads of the tool and/or of the crankshaft itself!

Works like a charm
After several trips to loan the tool to replace the harmonic balancer at the major auto parts stores and total failure as they did not have the correct tool to replace the harmonic balancer, I decided to just buy this one. They had the tool to remove it but not replace it- by the way use the Chrysler puller to get it off don't go with the 3 prong hooks they just break. In any event once I received this tool it took all of 5 minutes to but the balancer back on. Here is the catch with all the others - there is a short kit a long kit and then this one which for some reason is slightly shorter than the long kit and allows you to us a 32mm socket to push the balancer on. With the long kit you can't get the deep socket on the nut and with the short kit it won't even thread into the crank. This is on a GEN IV GM 4.8/5.3 liter vortex, typical in the GM trucks line mine was a 2008 suburban. Durable tool, the last one you'll have to buy.

Great quality. I will never need to buy another one. Makes for easy Installation iv put properly 10 harmonic balancers on and off

Works as advertised especially because they are deep reach and you get all the required thread engagement into the crank without pulling crank shaft threads or damaging the installer, great alternative to the OTC, Snap on etc. brands

This tool made the installation of my crankshaft front seal and also it’s harmonic balancer a breeze. Vehicle is a Ford Taurus-X with the older style 3.5 Non-Ecoboost. (Flex, Edge, Taurus, Taurus-X, Explorer). The provided threaded rod was long enough to fully engage in the crankshaft and provide a stable straight pushing point. Please note that the nut mounted on the thrust-bearing is a big 1 1/4''. Make sure to have a big wrench or deep open socket handy before using it. (A set of pliers could have done the trick too). Tool is made with high quality metal. I use exclusively hand tools and no air tools on these. There was no signs of wear of any kind after. Make sure to lube the threads before using it. I am glad that i purchased this tool at discounted price. The actual price is quite expensive for what it is.

Work at a Ford dealer, I’m tired of the animals here that put their impact guns on the crank pulley installer and break the bearings on the install nut so I decided to bite the bullet and try this out. Worked flawlessly with Ford 5.0, 3.5 NA and 3.5 ecoboost. Don’t bother trying to cram a wrench on the nut just use a 32mm socket with a ratchet. Cake
