Not very loud

The product is well deigned and functions, but not loud enough to be heard from the basement. The product ad did not say how loud to expect. My bad.

If you have an inside sump you need this.

Easy to install with plenty of connecting wire. Good instructions.

Defective item, then wrong item

I received the water alarm and prior to installing, tested operation. It would not work on DC battery power, only when plugged in to AC outlet. Called Zoeller support; they confirmed it was a faulty unit and suggetsted return to Seller. I processed a return online to Amazon, returned product and a replacement order confirmation received. When I got 2nd alarm, it was a totally different alarm without most features of what I purchased. I have just ordered this same item from a local plumbing supply.
