healthy, active snails!
so cute! they arrived a day earlier than the expected delivery date, and luckily i was home to bring them in immediately. they arrived in a small cup with soaked paper towels, no leakage or funky smells. i acclimated them per the instructions given and they were all active within a half hour. my shrimp love them. definitely recommend!!

Arrived alive but didn't live that long.
I ordered these snails from Generic last year in September. The colors I received were blue, black and chestnut (also known as albino). All three snails had some erosion on their shells. The blue one also was very inactive, and I assumed this was the snail's personality, but he died a month after arrival. The chestnut snail died in December. Her calcium deficiency was the least severe of the three, so it surprised me when she passed. The black one did live until the middle of February of this year. His shell erosion was pretty awful, and got worse over time despite the pH being 7.6, dKH of 12, and dGH of 8, and me really going to great lengths to acclimate him to a calcium rich diet. What I will say is that he had a wonderfully adorable personality. It's a shame he couldn't have lived longer. Based on photos that others have shared here, and based on my experience with snails from this breeder, I get the impression that they don't have the best genetics and are not kept in tanks with water parameters to meet their shell's needs. It doesn't seem like they have the best diets either, based on the shell conditions.

ORDING FROM THIS COMPANY CAN BE WORTH THE PRICE, SOME WHAT
Hi there , wanted gave my review of my 3 beautiful Mystery Snails I Received yesterday .I was so happy when i got them, I put them in their own fish tanks it took a few minutes for 2 of them to start to move around in their tanks . but the 3rd one sadly has not moved since i put it in its tank . i will give it one more day then do to the fact some snails sleep, so if it dose not move tomorrow then i probably say it was dead. I sure hope its not the case , because it is so pretty. The 4 stars are for the possible loss of a snail .the company needs to find a better way to ship their items, make they are alive when ship their items. but i am happy with my Mystery Snails i did receive and would order from them again.

Perfect delivery of Live Mystery Snails
I had purchased a couple of Mystery snails at my local PetsMart to add to my aquarium with guppies. They lasted about a month. My tank is clean and guppies are thriving so I do not believe it was an issue with my water. After reading some reviews and the information on how these Mystery snails would be shipped, I decided to give it a try. They showed up in perfect shape. The packaging included tips and advice about adding the snails to the aquarium. It also included helpful information on how to tell if the snail didn't make it. Fortunately for me, they are all three alive and well and moving around my tank exploring; they are all healthy! Guppies don't seem to mind either. Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised and amazed you could have live snails shipped, but it definitely worked out great for me. Love the company's willingness to provide great customer service as well! Very happy with my purchase and will use this company again for future aquatic purchases!

Alive and healthy
I was a little nervous because my postal delivery person did not deliver the snail to my front door and instead I had to wait for redelivery nearly 5 days later. When I open the package there were three snails of different colors - white, brown, and yellowish orange - all three had their operculum closed, and the white one was floating in the top of the bag. I live in Washington, so it was around 50° or so most of the day and I noticed the water was pretty cold. I floated them in some water (about the same temperature as my fish tank) for about 30-45 minutes. They didn’t look any different, but I added them to my fishtank anyway and within 10-20 minutes their operculum were opening and they were starting to move around.
