Superior to Clam Quick-Set Pavilion Camper
I'm writing this review after owning this gazebo and the comparable Clam Quick-Set Pavilion Camper. The Clam is a good gazebo and the Gazelle is a great gazebo. The design on the Gazelle gazebo feels more carefully thought-through as though the designer is a personal user and puts attention into details. Both gazebos are heavy and when I carryied the Clam in its bag, one of the handles ripped off. The Gazelle bag is more durable, has lots more handles and straps on the bag, and has plenty of stitching that will prevent any handle from coming off. The Clam gazebo is not waterproof and after experiencing leaking in a rainstorm I had to purchase the optional rain fly for another $120. I think the rainfly should have been included instead of being an optional accessory. It is difficult and awkward to attach to the Clam. The Gazelle doesn't need a rainfly. I haven't yet tested it in rain but the manufacturer claims the gazebo has "a waterproof rating of 2000MM on a hydrostatic head test for the shell material and a 3000MM rating on the floors and footprints (1500MM is considered waterproof for fabrics)." The other reviews here confirm good rain protection. The Gazelle has an awning, which I really like. The Clam does not. One thing in the Clam's favor is that the extra poles that reinforce the entrance are integrated into the gazebo whereas in the Gazelle they are separate and have to be retrieved from the bag during setup. The tent stakes included with the Gazelle are some of the nicest I've seen. The floors are different. In the Clam the floor is a bathtub design that velcroes securely to the walls, making a pretty good seal against bugs and rain. The downside of this approach is that it takes more time to attach it. The Gazelle gazebo just sits on top of the floor, which has slightly larger dimensions, and the tent stakes go through grommits on each one. This design is faster to set up but not sealed against the intrusion of bugs and rainwater. I haven't had the Gazelle for very long and I don't know how much of a practical difference this will make. I purchased the Clam gazebo first because I saw more people on the internet talking about it but if I could do this again I would have skipped it and purchased the Gazelle first instead. I'm glad I have it now.

Should work good for its intended use.
I like everything about this tent. Build seems solid. Really spacious. And easy setup. I did not actually use the gazebo in an outdoor setting just inside the house as a sample setup. The gazebo is big and very roomy. Setup was fast as well. The only reason why I didn't keep it is because the actual size. My intent was to use it mainly as a tent because it's described as a tent/gazebo. While it should work great as a gazebo it seems too big as a tent for me. You can't help but notice on setup that it actually feels like you're setting up a gazebo. It's tall, bulky and kinda heavy to lug around. And the floor is not included so that would have to be purchased separately (probably the reason why it's main purpose is to be used as a gazebo). Also, although the setup was quick and easy it's a little more difficult because of the actual size of it. We also bought a coleman fast pitch tent coz we wanted to compare. The size obviuosly is not even close to this G6 gazelle and the build quality is slightly less but we wanted to test the setup time. The coleman tent setup was very fast if not faster than this gazelle G6. Setup was done in about 40 seconds from the bag. I think the main difference is that the size to setup the G6 is much bigger. I'm also gonna try the gazelle G4 hub tent since that is an actual tent and not a gazebo. Also I read that the floor detaches on the G4 to make it more convenient for cleaning. I'm sure the quality of the G4 will be just as good as the G6 but maybe the size and setup will make a difference to me.

No more bug bites!
Great tent. Easy to set up and take down. Folds up and is easy to store under our RV. The only negative I found is the mesh is so tight, not much air flows through. But, that keeps all those “No See ums” out!!

It’s Big
It’s big. The quality is good. Takes a little practice to set up. Once you’ve done it a couple times it’s easy. We’ve used it a few times now and it’s great for camping. We’ve tried it with a tarp underneath and with just the ground. Either works fine. If I were using it as my camping tent you might consider a trap or the expensive floor that can be purchased separately. The only issue we’ve had is one time on a windy day, one side kept popping back inward. I then used a cord and stake to make it stop. We always use quality stakes. Much beefier than the small ones.

Lack of air flow
Nice and roomy, set up is fairly easy. (really easy for me, as my husband is the one setting it up )The only 2 complaints: While it's great that the screen is so dense you won't have an issue with bugs, it allow s very little air flow to come through, hence my second issue; There is no ceiling vent for the hot air to escape. That being said, I'm sure we will get plenty of use from it. I only gave it 2 stars on the water resistance because I have no idea, and it wouldn't let me submit a review without remarking on that.

Awesome
Best purchase for a comfortable camping trip. A little stuffy in the sun but keeps bugs out. Absolutely awesome in wind and cooler temps. We had one seam that leak in heavy rain just applied seam sealant and problem solved. Love the attached side walls can aslo be awnings.Highly recommend and would purchase again. Storage bag is huge with lots of spare room.

Good I guess but for 400 plus I expected a bit more quality
Got this today and while the gazebo itself is ok and is fairly easy to put up. the quality is pretty lacking, I can see a spot where the tent material is already coming apart and the handles on my bag are already ripping or have already ripped. It’s also not nearly as easy to get back in the bag as numerous reviewers claim. Disappointed due to the obnoxious price

It pops up quite well though sometimes a bit awkward to get it in one go, good material, and very waterproof.

We have had traditional metal / fabric gazebos in the past and never really liked using them, given even withthe bug curtains bugs seem to take over in short order. But after years of bug candles we wanted somewhere we could use outdoors to get away from the bugs. We have adored this gazebo, or "the yurt" as we all call it. it has held up with some pretty significant storms, so easy to set up, and tons of room (we got the 12 foot one) I have used a large rv mat on the ground and given its tight to the floor we have not had issues with crawly bugs inside. The built in rain / weather guards of the deluxe are awesome, glad we.opted to make the extra investment. , so we leave things inside with no issue getting wet. I have had other pop up tents, this is so much better overall. We did end up rigging some small bungie cords on the outside ropes ,so it's a quick unhook to allow the side to come through the eyelet and make opening the sides quicker . This would be a good add on design vs the strings alone. It can get hot on really warm days if you are in a sunny spot so we use a small fan from time.to time. But that is the cost of a nice bug free area, or setting it up into a shaded area also helps. Will say I had a little sticker shock at first but do feel there is value as it compares to others we have had in the past .

Just got it yesterday and set it up by myself - I was too excited to wait for anyone to come home to help. It was heavy to get to the backyard by myself but once I did, it was so easy to set up…. No more than 90 seconds!! They aren’t kidding! Sat in it all day today with my pups, It was really windy and hot and it sheltered me from the wind and sun. No bugs yet, but they won’t be able to get in. I could not be happier. It looks great too! Did I mention the privacy? Very happy with this purchase.

Fabulous, well thought out unit. Could have a centre strap for us short people to lower the ceiling and hang a light from.
