This is my third or fourth collar for training that I have purchased for my young dog. By far it has been the best in quality and in function. And for the price--even a better buy!

Our little dog will not wear a harness, and he slips out of every collar I have bought until now! He didn't even try to slip out! It was easy to get on and set the proper size/tightness of the collar and looks good with the leather lead I bought with it.

This is a great choke collar. It's not a chain or a pinch that causes pain. The thicker the collar the less choke. Yes, that sounds terrible! We have to be able to take our sweet babies out in public. Sometimes we need to have a gentle way to get their attention. A quick pull and release helps redirect their over zealous puppy attention back in the right direction. This collar is a gentle reminder. Please understand how to use a collar like this before buying. This one is great!

So I walked both dogs with this collar. Both are 70lb pitbulls. Ones a massive puller and always has to be trying to lead the way (boy) The other ( girl )not so much. The thickness is great. Seems to be good quality. Looks to be comfortable and works decent for walking my girl dog. When I tried walking the boy the collar seemed to stretch which made him choke but keep pulling. I had to keep moving it up his neck every 20 ft to keep it right by his ears. I couldn't gain control over him what so ever. This collar was meant for him but we need a more stable material. I'm sure this would work good for dogs that are already walk trained. Not durable enough for the dogs that are reactive or need better manners on a leash. I have a slip rope leash that works much better then this and was only 6 dollars more. Just add a comparison. I think this would be better suited for puppies or smaller dogs.

My Malinois is 1 year old. I will use this around my house for quick corrections. The 24” length is a bit short to act as a standalone walking option but it is perfect for a quick correction around the house. I put it on to instruct him and guide him. Then i take it off. I will also use this in combination with his harness when i do go on walks, so that while i use my long leash, i can clip onto this slip-collar and correct behavior on the fly.

I like so far. Effective with my training.

This is my second purchase. I like how lightweight it is. It got caught on something sharp ( not my dog’s teeth) and was looking a little ragged so I’m replacing it.
