To date, the Remington Pr1320, is the best all around shaver I have ever used in the under $50 category. I have always had an electric shaver for convenience and travel, preferring a safety razor shave. I am retired now, so I have bought quite a few in this category. I dealt with a shave that was not as close as a safety razor but needed the convenience. This safety razor stands out because of its ease of maintenance. easy to do both daily and weekly maintenance when I break down the shaver head to clean and lube the parts. The shave is exceptional for closeness and find my self using it almost daily. Great buy, for me an easy 5 stars.

In the past, shaving had become such a chore that I simply gave up on it. I didn't have a club or employer that required me to be clean-shaven, so why bother with creams, disposable razors, getting nicked and all that. Am I right? I have had trouble getting good results from shavers in the past, but, I saw and ad for the company (one from decades ago, while watching a recording of very early game shows, LOL) and decided to try it. I did take note that the replacement heads cost more than the shaver itself. So, the shave quality was good the first few days. It took a beard that was weeks old pretty much down to the skin, although I would say I never got all the hair removed, I think I look demonstratively better using it. Before this, I was just using little trimming scissors whenever there was enough hair to bug me. But since then, I notice I don't have a bald face. There is a lot less hair, but it is not all gone as I would have liked. And it irritated my skin, hurting a little. Maybe I wasn't using it right since I have not been used to shaving in years. The battery was charged enough for me to use it days at a time without having to plug in. That made it much easier to get it where it needed to be since there was no attached cord I had to fight. I open it and clean it out quite frequently. This may be because, as I said, I am fairly new to this having given up on shaving some years ago. I thought it was easy to clean and maintain in good condition. My wife got on my case for buying it because she said all men's shavers are really expensive. This one was just under thirty dollars, which is the main reason I decided to try it. I didn't find it expensive at all for what it does. I look completely different and better using it and I didn't have to sacrifice a lot to buy it, money being extremely tight these days. So, I do consider it so far to be a very good value. What I don't know it how long it will last, how many times I can recharge the battery before it gives out and how often I will have to replace the blades to get the results I want. I don't like reviewing things because I'm not you. I can't say whether you should buy it or not. What I can and do say is that I am pleased with this purchase. The product is doing more than I expected from it and the quality to cost ratio favors me very well.

Nice little razor, looked cheap upon first impression..but shaves great and extremely easy to clean!

I would never buy another one of these, but not as good as they say they are. I do know they’re not it was good as non-name authorizers. They are a little better than this one, but my opinion.
