b12 only comes from animals right? So how does a Vegan product obtain b 12?

You are right that the only sources of B12 in our diet are from animal products, but thanks to some clever chemistry it is actually possible to make B12 via a series of reactions that bind the structural components of B12 and produce a biologically identical, non-food-derived methylcobalamin. This means we can provide all the benefits of B12 in the exact same form it is found in foods, so the body can recognise and utilise it fully, without the need to derive it from animal sources. Fortification of foods such as flour and breakfast cereal use this method of B12 production so it is widely used. We use methylcobalamin as it is the specific form of B12 needed for nervous system health, is better absorbed and retained in higher amounts within tissues than the cyanocobalamin form, which is the most commonly used form in supplements and food fortification. what are the "bulking and anti-caking" agents exactly?

Good afternoon, Thank you for your query about bulking and anti-caking agents in our Super B-Complex. We do use a number of standard bulking agents, as is used widely in the food industry, the purpose of which is to add volume to enable a tablet to be made (otherwise supplements containing several ingredients provided in micronutrients would simply be too small to manufacture). A bulking agent or filler is essentially a ‘carrier’ for the active ingredients. All of our bulking agents are non-toxic and are therefore safe for human consumption. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is, for example, a form of cellulose gum naturally occurring in the cell walls of plants. While these ingredients are primarily used as bulking agents, the cellulose is used as part of our sustained-release formula to delay the release of the active ingredients and increase uptake of the nutrients. We also use a number of standard excipients (termed ‘flow agents’) that are ubiquitous in supplement manufacturing, as they are necessary to reduce resistance during processing. Without the use of flow agents, the powder ingredients would simply stick to the manufacturing equipment, making it impossible to manufacture tablets or capsules without them. We use non-toxic and vegetarian-friendly silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate and stearic acid. I hope that this helps to answer your question.
