Gets the job done
Purchased this to carry poles for an ultra. No bounce, easy in/out and a couple of extra pockets for stuff. For reference, I’m a 5’1” female and about 120. I wear 4/6 pants and I purchased a medium to wear over my hips (as opposed to my true waist). The size recommended was small but the medium worked perfectly and was very comfortable.

Runs extremely small but works great if you can nail down your size
I’m a female that wears size 0-2 in pants which according to the size charts equates to a XS. When I opened the package and held the belt up against my waist I knew it wasn’t going to fit. Never one to give up without trying I attempted to put the belt on but could barely get it pass my knees. I know I’m not the skinniest person but I’ve never had a XS not even come close to fitting. Given that it’s uni-sex and the size chart I expected it to come close to fitting. I hate returning things so if there was a slim chance I thought it would stretch or I could squeeze into it I would keep it so believe me when I say there’s no chance. Too bad because I love this brand and this belt seemed like it would fit the gap I need between wearing a vest or a Fanny pack but if I can’t get it over my thighs it’s useless. Will be returning and given the size of the XS thinking a Small won’t fit either so not even gonna try. UPDATE: Since this belt had all the features I was looking for I decided to give it another try. Because XS didn’t come close to fitting I went with the Medium and it fits. Wondering if I should have tried the small first in case it stretches but nobody got time for that. For now the medium works and doesn’t ride up, roll down and is comfortable. No irritation while wearing. It performed great during two back to back trail races. Front pocket fits my phone along with 3-4 gels and a couple of salt tablet packs. Besides the sizing the pole holders in the back are disappointing. They held my poles for maybe 3 miles but I felt like I had to constantly adjust them. One side seems to lock in the poles without slipping but the other side just doesn’t seem to lock so it slowly slips requiring adjusting and wasteful use of energy while running. I used the pole elastic loops for a cooling towel instead with no problems and it’ll probably hold a jacket or other piece of clothing so the loops aren’t completely useless. Just don’t expect to use it to hold your poles. I like the breathable material, easy pocket access, bib holder and the comfortable feel while wearing so bumping up from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Good but could’ve better
**Update 10/15/23** Well not happy about this. I notice the zipper was open after a run, but thought I forgot to close it or something, but the zipper was in the closed position, and I just zipped it down and back up. Well today after my run, I found out that the zipper indeed is splitting open. Not cool. Especially since I put my car key in there and there’s not clip either. Ultra Aspire need to go back to the drawing board on this. It’s in need of real fixes. I’ve used the Naked Running Band for a few years now. I bought it small, but because of Covid, inventory was limited and it was on backorder when I got it. So exchanging it wasn’t an option. But now it’s worn out. Anyway, I purchased this as a replacement. For the money this isn’t a bad option. I like that it has bib numbers holders and the spring tabs are secured so you don’t lose them. My others were not. This belt also has a place for poles or a jacket on the back. I like that, but find when trying to cinch down the straps it pulls the belt together making the back pocket useless. I’m not sure why this is, but it’s a bad design. The draw strings should not be sewn into the fabric of the belt, but it does. Then lastly, the zipper on the belt is nice for securing objects (like keys) from being lost. However, I’ve found that the zipper starts to bunch and is rough on the hip. Very rigid. When you go to use it, you have to stretch the belt out to unzip. I think the zipper should have been placed horizontal instead of vertical or they should’ve used a more flexible material (less bulky) to feel more a part of the belt. Overall, I like the belt and hope it will lasts a while. At least it fits, feels secure and isn’t too constricting. The pull tab on the front pouch could be bigger as it’s hard to feel or grasp. Not sure I like the 3 access holes on top. It would be nice if these were 3 separated pouches. The rear access port hole is a bit difficult to locate. And if you have something attached to the draw strings you’ll have to spin the whole thing around.

Junk
The zipper came completely off and it was only the 2nd time I used it! I bought this one specifically because it has a zipper. Don’t waste your money. I’m so disappointed in this product

Running belt
I just received it and wore it for the first time. So far, so good. No bounce, decent storage space and comfortable. I do believe that they run a bit small.
