Great dive knife
This is a great cheap option for spear fishing. I use it to brain the fish and gut before leaving the ocean. Durability is not the best as it will rust but for the price cant beat it. The sheath holds it strong and never had it fall out.

Great little spear fishing knife
Welp I finally lost my knife - no fault of the knife, I set it down after I took it off my belt and left it on the beach somewhere… I bought this blade for spearfishing and it did everything it was supposed to. Stiletto point is great for dispatching. Steel take an edge well. I’ve brained, bled and gutted a decent number of small and medium fish now and never had issue… in a pinch the serrations actually work well to de scale and we’ve even filleted a few snapper and jacks with this little guy. The lock up is foolproof as well. All that and it’s cheap. Good disposable knife. I recommend 2 if you like how it fits in hand (because everyone says you will inevitably lose your dive knife and now I can attest that’s true). The coating seems to work. The edge itself will rust in salt water so remember to try and rinse/dry after use… I’ve only ever dealt with surface rust which is easy to buff out. It’s not the most ergonomic but that’s because it’s thin which I like. And it still works well in hand and is easy to use.

A- to A product (might be A+ after I get a few fish to test it out)
Update: After a season of spearfishing, and at the beginning of the second season I feel this knife is really great for spearfishing medium sized fish. The retention system is top notch and haven't lost a blade yet (previous dive knifes either came out too easily / lost or a PIA to get to release when I need it). I really like this after being in the water. I would definitely buy again. ======================================================================================= Westcoast Straighthookers is top notch seller, and worked with me very quickly when first package was lost by USPS. Initial impressions is that this is a 4 star product. It felt a little on the light side for sturdiness, but this is a highly specialized knife. What this is not: - I would not use this for heavy duty cutting (likely could get thru lobster trap rope on occasion but not up to the task all the time). - NO prying (blade too thin, and tang only goes halfway into the handle) What this knife is: -Smallish, Very Light (wouldn't even notice this on your belt) -Great sheath (Belt loop or leg straps) -Very good locking mechanism to hold knife in sheath -Definitely sturdy for shankin things (Tested on 2x4's out in the garage. Stabbed quite hard and seemed sturdy for that task). -Plastic in general is very good and seems to be non-brittle which is a very good thing -Very sharp tip that would do as this knife is designed to do (i.e. dispatch fish quickly). -Would require very little force to enter a fish, and easily controllable compared to larger dive knifes that are for general diving use. In general expect a surgeon's scalpel instead of a machete. Its a specialized tool that I think only a spear fisherman would want to carry vs. a normal diver. Its more like an ice pick than a cutting tool, but can do some light cutting jobs. I'll update my review this weekend if i'm lucky enough to get some fish.

Good price, meh quality
Bought 2 of these (me and my buddy) Both had the tips snap off during our 1st and 2nd dives.... Under normal, not aggressive use. They'll still work ok, but the blades seem brittle. Also the fit in the included sheath is just 'good' not great. On the plus side, they're cheap.... So when they get lost it won't hurt that badly

Awesome affordable fishing/diving knife
I've bought 2 of these in the past few years. Use it in salt water as a kill knife for spearfishing and kayak fishing, but it works well for bait, or even cleaning fish at the end of the day. The blade might get little spots of surface oxidation with wear, but keep it rinsed and maybe oil every now and then. Mine hold very securely in the sheath, just make sure they are clicked in fully. The black blade coating actually holds up ok. Can't beat the value at this price. (I paid more than twice the price at my local dive shop for a similar knife with a less secure mechanism, I lost it after 3 dives.)

Great knife
Great knife comes with leg strap and sheath for your knife feels very durable and strong. Only problem is the knife doesn't come very sharp which is not a problem, still cuts seaweed good and rope! Just will not take the hairs off your arm is all.

I like the size and for a kill knife is is ...
I have purchased two of these over the past three years. I like the size and for a kill knife is is not bad. It is difficult to reinsert back into it's holder when worn on you rubber dive belt. You have to protect the tip carefully as you guide it back into place for fear of cutting your self. The retention system is great and clicks cleanly back in to place and is easy to remove when needed. It's small size is great for carrying bad for holding on to when in use to silence a fish. It is easy to drop but that is the trade off for not having to carry a bulky knife and I can live with that part. The main detracter is it rusts very easily. I wash the knive in clean water after each use but both knives I have owned are good for one season only then the corrode and become useless. So they are somewhat cheap I like the compact carry aspects and the retentions system. Stainless steel or titianium might be the answer the cost would go up but then you wouldn't have to replace it every season
