I recently ordered these pants and had a chance to wear them on a steep 7 mile hike this past weekend. They are really comfortable! I have larger legs/thighs/etc so I went for a size 14 even though it recommended a size 12 for me. This was a good call for the fit of the legs, as it wasn't skin tight but still flattering. I appreciated having some room in the legs, especially since the zip offs are kind of where the legs bend often. It didn't bother me though due to the looser fit. The waist was a bit bigger than I'd like though and I did have to pull it up a few times while hiking. An adjustable belt would have made these perfect! There are belt loop holes though so you can easily add one if needed. I'm not sure if it'll hold up to rain yet, but I think these are a great spring, summer, and early fall hiking pant!

Nice pants! They are comfortable. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfect. The waist has a little stretch to it and that is good too! The fabric is quality although I don't care for the mesh pockets, they do help with quick drying. These pants look sharp on your body too. Where I live, it's VERY buggy all summer long, from biting blackflies in the spring, bees, deerflies, horseflies and mosquitos all summer long...these pants will help me continue to get outside without getting bite or stung! The length is perfect too. I am tall and sometimes pants are too long, even for me...these are great.

I found these pants in a size 8 to be a nice fitted cut through hips, thighs and lower legs, but a bit too tight for comfort in the waist. I am 5'7" 135lb - tried the size 10 and the waist fit nicely but pants were too loose for my taste in the hips and legs. I addressed the problem by removing the elastic from both sides of the waist and now the 8 fits great. It was, though, a tedious fix, and it does require cutting the elastic and re-sewing the waistband. As far as length, the inseam in the size 8 seems to be just under 30in - I would prefer an extra inch but it will suffice. I do agree with a couple of other commenters that the zipper for shorts can rub just above the knees - wish the shorts length was a little shorter, as it would probably solve this problem and also would be a nicer look that than the long Bermuda length as is. I wasn't sure I would like or use the capri roll up, but the snaps/straps are nicely executed and I think this will be useful feature . I plan to wear the pants for travel, so have not hiked in them yet to know if the knee zippers will be a problem or not.Update after trip - I loved the pants after modification and did not have any discomfort from the zippers above the knee. We walked 10-12k steps almost every day for 2 weeks.

Wore these on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and was very happy with them! They are comfortable and fit me very well. Appreciated the belt loops and did add a belt for extra support. Good number of pockets, and it was easy to turn them into shorts during the heat of the day as needed. They are definitely NOT waterproof, but in mist or light rain they kept me almost totally dry. More importantly, they stay comfortable and don’t get heavy when it does rain, and they were totally dry within 10-15 minutes of hiking after the rain stopped.

I've had a pair of these pants for a year now, and they have been showing some wear around the bottom and hip areas. I've brought them along on some backpacking and hiking trips, but haven't used them too aggressively. Not sure if they are starting to wear because of washing. They're decent hiking pants overall, very comfortable and flexible. They are definitely quick dry and lightweight. The pockets aren't that big, the front pocket is the only one that can fit a phone (barely), but it's very uncomfortable to carry it there.

It’s easy to convert from pant to short and back again. The zippers are if good quality. It can easily convert to capri length. But I noted they fall a bit. Fabric is not pilled. The thickness feels like a good weight for spring, summer and fall. You may need another layer of using in the winter. The liquid rolls right off, so I can see this being a go to for hiking in the rain. There is only one zippered pocket. All others are deep enough to hold your mobile phone. I have a iPhone 12 and it’s not tight when in either back pocket or front pocket. Enjoy.

Very happy with this purchase. The fit is great and the bit of stretch in the material makes them flattering around in the rear. I wore them kayaking and they did a great job of repelling the water. My bum did get a bit wet after sitting in a small puddle of water for 1.5 hrs, but the pants dried out quickly. Easy to zip off the legs while wearing. Only small critic is that the zipper area around the thighs where the pant legs zip off can get a bit snug if you have thick thighs. It's only noticeable when sitting for me and not really a problem. But if your thighs are large, then you might run into issues here. The belt that came with the pants is extra long, but that's not a big deal either. Overall, really great pants for the price!

I bought these pants before and loved them. Looking to buy another pair and when they arrived I noticed that the pair I received had elastic at the waist (and a belt) and the material felt lighter. The original pair had no elastic at the waist ad the material was heavier and didn't wrinkle. I returned the pants. So disappointed.
