I have read mixed reviews but after purchasing one of these beef sticks while traveling, I wanted more. They are soft and easy to bit. Yes, they feel a little bit greasy to the touch, but I love the taste. Ordered a second set. Nice for protein snack.

Sweetwood is hands down the best meat snack out there. The steak bites are incredible- amazing taste and darn near perfect texture. This makes the perfect snack for a road trip and a great gift! BUY THIS TREAT!

I'm always looking to branch out with flavors and textures. This is chunky, slightly moist meat sticks. They can crumble - they aren't dry. The flavors aren't great though. And after eating the ones in the variety pack I had no inclination to order more. They just weren't my texture or flavor.

He said they were ok. Not bad or anything. He prefers the thinner jerky because he said this type was to similar to those round cheap sticks he hates. Kind of greasy. Not his favorite. He said he would not like any more or them. He said he would try the thin version but not this kind ever again. I was happy that it was nitrate as he is not wanting any nitrates in food anymore. So if you like the thin round jerky that you see all over the place you might like these. But stay away if you don't.

We love all of Sweetwood's products, however, our favorites are the Bully Sticks. They are so easy to throw in a backpack, a purse or a car console. They are super flavorful, and tender. We go through a ton of beef jerky as we are constantly traveling, hiking or backpacking and other beef jerky brands don't even compare in flavor and texture. You won't regret this purchase! SO YUMMY!!!!

I did not like receiving expired product that was nearly 2 months out of date. And then receiving product from the same expired batch after requesting and waiting for replacement. Figured I wouldn't bother with attempt number three. So how does nearly 2 month out of date meat sticks taste? They don't taste quite right, but I think I'll be ok. Twitches slightly This is attempt number 2 at posting a review as my first one was deleted for not meeting guidelines, but no specifics were given. So I'm left feeling very frustrated. While I like the product. The box came up short in count. There were only 14. Not worth returning, but unhappy. Either the makers can’t count or someone took some liberties with the box that is only taped shut.
