tape does not reflect well at all
I bought this tape unknowing about other engineer grade tapes and how it works and just like most people here - I got screwed - this tape is crap. It is not engineer grade. It is cheap - peels off - it does NOT reflect at all. There is NO good deals on reflection tape. Meaning if the price is too good to be true - it usually is a bad product......... spare yourself from doing it again - buy the scotchlite 3M engineer grade tapes or better. anything less does NOT reflect. and NO it does NOT work to wrap hula hoops and make them reflect light for coinflips. why? bc the tape sucks.

Worked well for me
I bought this tape for a night orienteering course that I was setting up for our youth group (rather than hammering reflectors into trees). Having read some reviews on the lack of adhesion, I was worried it wouldn't be sticky enough so I ran a test. I applied a couple of strips of the tape to a PVC pipe and, because it would be outside in the rainy weather, I submerged it in a bucket of water. After 2 days in the water, the tape was still well adhered and didn't show any sign of peeling. I was very pleased. For the courses, I was using PVC pipe staked into the ground. The taped poles have been outside for about a week in periodic rain and have had no issues with peeling. I also thought the reflectivity was good. Using just headlamps and a bearing, we were able to catch the reflection on the pole and navigate to the waypoint. The color of the tape doesn't really show up in the reflection, it just looks bright white/yellow but as you get closer, you can see the color. Kind of like a cat eye reflection. We've had several groups run the course in the dark and we haven't lost anybody yet ;). One other note: for whatever reason, the backer material was stuck a lot more to the orange color so separating the layers was difficult, and a couple times, resulted in peeling the color off the adhesive, but we figured that out quick and it didn't cause any issues. All other colors (except white, we didn't use white) applied easily. Overall, no complaints from me. Worked exactly as I was hoping it would. Don't know if there are quality control issues that result in some of the bad reviews and I just got a good batch, but either way, I'm happy.

Just what I was looking for
So I was trying to find lots of high viz for my daughter's bike as the days are getting shorter. (See my other reviews for the led lights)She only put the tape on the 1 bar. This picture was taken in the dark with the flash on and you can clearly see how they shine in the light.Other reviews stated the adhesive is not great. We noticed that on the white only and it's just a little less sticky than the other colors. The white and yellow are by far the best reflective with the blue being the least reflective. She used all 6 colors and if you blow it up you can see the reflectiveness of each color. I feel better with all the additions for making her high viz. I would definitely buy this tape again.I actually plan on using it to put our address on the mailbox, cutting it to lengths to write out the numbers. I bought the .4" width. Very pleased with the purchase. Good value for the price.

Not Exactly What I Was Expecting
One would think reflective tape would...well...reflect. The yellow works wonderfully, the blue...not so much. I was using this tape to mark sign posts for guests to find my house in the dark. I used blue and yellow for the marking. When driving after dark, the yellow reflected wonderfully, the blue was a complete waste of time.
