I decided to give the Pets Purest Himalayan Yak Milk Chew a try for my dog, and it’s been a big hit! It’s made with natural ingredients and is great for keeping him busy — he’ll gnaw on it for ages, which is awesome for his dental health too. I’ve definitely seen less plaque buildup, and it’s satisfying to know it’s a high-protein, calcium-rich treat. The only downside is the price — it’s a bit on the expensive side compared to other chews. But considering how long it lasts and how much my dog enjoys it, I think it’s worth the occasional splurge. Just be aware that it’s pretty hard, so always supervise your pup while they’re chewing away!

Ok and decent quality but very small compared to ones bought at pets at Home.

I've bought these for Harvey Pickles since he was pup in arms. He loved them when he was teething and still does now at 9 months. They are not very thick so for an older dog with strong jaws they will not last very long. Harvey P can now finish one i under an hour. The last inch or so I remove from him as he could choke but i put it in the microwave for 40 seconds and it puffs up to at least 3 x its size. Harvey P also loves it like this but we have to give it 10 mins to cool down as it is hot hot hot so if you do heat the last inch be careful. I you want a long lasting chew stick, these are not the ones but for a tasty treat, these hit the spot.

This is sold as a pack of 5, as stated on the actual pack not just the listing. But only includes 4 in reality. These sticks are almost half the width of most yak sticks so it’s super disappointing when you’re also short on the amount you ordered!

I should have read the 1-star reviews before buying these yak sticks. Firstly, the good points. Our little Maltese cross really loved the flavour of these yak sticks. She was really excited as soon as she smelled them. Secondly (and the main reason for buying them), the size is perfect for her. Now the bad point. The very bad point! Luckily, I was holding the yak stick for her when she managed to bite off a piece of the stick. It was about one and a half centimetres long and tapered to a very, very sharp point at one end. Luckily, I managed to get the piece out of her mouth before she swallowed it. It was like a small dagger! I dread to think what could have happened if she had swallowed it. In hindsight I should have taken a photo of it, but I just threw it away. These sticks are not the same consistency as the ones we normally buy from our local pet store. They are extremely brittle. The first one that she had snapped in half when she bit it while I was holding it for her. It's a real shame that we can't let her have them because she really likes the flavour and the size is perfect.

J'ai une petite chienne spitz de 2 mois et demi qui a un énorme besoin de mordre et mâchouiller tout ce qu'elle trouve. Ses petites dents sont de véritables aiguilles et elle a une sacrée force dans les mâchoires. J'ai donc regardé les commentaires de ce produit et vu le nombre d'étoiles, j'ai tenté ma chance car je ne connaissais pas. Annoncé au fromage fabriqué à base de lait de Yak de l'Himalaya 🤔🤔🤔 On ne demanderait qu'à y croire mais personnellement, je suis sceptique ! Je m'attendais à ce que ça dégage au moins une petite odeur de fromage mais..... RIEN ! Inodore comme les nerfs de bœufs ! Je n'ai certes pas le flair du chien mais je suis tout de même dotée d'un très bon odorat ! Mais c'est pas tout, elle l'a mâché, mâché et encore mâché pendant quelques heures et.... RIEN ! Ça ne se ramollit pas le moins du monde ni même ne se détachent des petites miettes comme les dentastix par exemple ! C'EST DUR COMME DU BÉTON ET EN PLUS 13,99 € pour 5, c'est carrément du vol car ça va partir à la poubelle vu qu'il est resté tel quel ! Évidemment, au bout de plusieurs heures, la pauvre a fini par se décourager ! Une belle daube ! Je viens de vérifier la composition où je vois écrit MILK. Il n'y a pas plus de YAK que de beurre en branche ! Véritable arnaque ! La pauvre, elle me fait peine et je vais, dès demain, aller en animalerie lui acheter quelque chose de plus engageant ! On ne doit pas beaucoup aimer les animaux quand on se permet de vendre de telles daubes ! Je rajoute une photo pour illustrer mon commentaire. Voici 2 bâtons dont je n'arrive même pas à reconnaître celui qu'elle a machouillé en vain pendant des heures et pourtant, toute petite quelle est, elle a une telle force dans les mâchoires qu'elle arrive à tout détruire ! J'appelle ça du foutage de G...... Effectivement, les 2-3 premiers jours, ma petite chienne Spitz n'avait pas spécialement apprécié et j'étais furax et puis, au bout d'une semaine, non seulement, elle s'y est mise mais malgré son jeune âge et ses petites dents pointues, elle ne les lâche plus, les ronge jusqu'à même arriver à les casser, et pourtant, ils sont durs. Désolée mais, du coup, je change le nombre d'étoiles où je n'en n'avais mis auparavant qu'une seule et quand ils seront terminés, j'en rachèterai du coup. On a tellement l'habitude de se faire arnaquer dans la vie que maintenant, je démarre au quart de tour ! Désolée encore une fois et merci.
