Speechless Big Girls' Illusion Dress with Flower Applique

Bought this dress for my 10 year old daughter... since it is a requirement for her violin performances. She has one this saturday so I have now to see what she can wear and gave this dress to a friend. The dress itself is nice as in picture... but didnt expect that it would be too small considering I bought a size 12! We were both looking forward for the dress :(. I hoped she would be able to use it through next year...

The dress although cute was scratchy (as my niece put it) and will be returned. The material was itchy feeling to her

The dress arrived very quickly and it meets our need for a black dress to wear for piano recitals.Our seven-year-old is petite and very slender. The dress fits her well and there's enough room, without looking either too big or sloppy, for a bit of growth.

This is a beautiful dress. It was purchased for an orchestra performance. My expectations were already set by reading the other reviews, so I was not disappointed. I ordered one size larger than normal. The inside of this dress is indeed itchy on the skin, and we remedied that by wearing a black camisole underneath. The model of this dress is slender and tall, so the ability to tie the dress in back helps elevate the bit of slack on the sides of the dress in the torso area. The added length from buying a size larger allows this dress to fall lower on the leg, which is nice as we struggle with many dresses that are the "right size" but are too short for her.

Was tight on our 5 year old. Had no problem returning it for the next size up.
