I received these cartridges today and installed them. Other than my printer giving me the notification that HP cannot be responsible for the quality of the non HP cartridges, they installed perfectly. My biggest concern was that the printer would not accept the chip, rendering the cartridges unusable. This was not the case. I tested the cartridges out by printing a test picture and it was perfect. This is not the first time that I have used Valuetoner cartridges. I did previously have an issue with the chips not being recognized, but Valuetoner made good and supplied me with cartridges that also worked perfectly with my HP 8730 OfficeJet Pro. I am a completely satisfied customer of these cartridges and will continue to order them no matter what printer I will be using in the future. I highly recommend these cartridges from Valuetoner as they are as functional and much more cost effective than the highly overpriced HP cartridges that are foisted upon us.

Help full hint: I have an HP 8710 printer. These ink cartridges will not initially work. You will get an error message. Call the C/S number on the box. The people there are really nice - they will send you via UPS the correct NEW cartridges that won't trigger the printer to reject them. You do need to reprogram your printer as they suggest. Those instructions are inside the box of cartridges that you initially receive. It resets your printer so it doesn't do "Updates" and thus reject your new Valuetoner products. The savings are HUGE. I say Good for Valuetoner for beating the big guy at their game.

HP is pitiful to force users to buy their super expensive ink Cartridges. (one full set is ~$200, and I have to buy full color even I only print black and white). This one is about 1/4 the price of the orignals and it works like a charm. Just to remember to turn off the auto update of the printer ( as for today the carridages still work but HP updates can invalidate them anytime).
