Ordered this desk for working from home as I needed something I could put away at the end of the day. The desk was incredibly easy to put together and all the necessary tools were included. The wood finish looks great and it's well made. I was really surprised with how stable the desk is for being foldable - it also comes with a wall mount should you want more stability. It's the perfect size - I can fit my monitor and laptop with keyboard and mouse and lots of comfortable space. Really pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend. Great value!

This desk was definitely what I was looking for - in terms of construction, dimensions and quality. I noticed that it was knocked in some reviews because the reviewer(s) thought it wasn't sturdy enough. The first thing I have to point out is that it is advertised as a folding desk. It's not as unsteady as a folding card table but it can be folded. I don't plan to fold/unfold the desk much if at all because that could weaken it. When it is unfolded, it is steady enough for my monitor, two small speakers and an external hard drive. And it gives me much more surface area than my previous desk did. It would be less steady without the keyboard tray installed because the left and right sides fold towards the center but I don't plan to use the desk without the keyboard tray. My first impression of the desk was that it was easy to assemble. All it took was 4 wood screws (provided), a hex wrench (provided) and the pre-drilled holes for the screws. Next, I unfolded the left and right sides of the desk and slid the keyboard tray into the rails on the inner part of the left and right sides. Then, because I live in earthquake country, I anchored the desk to the wall with the brackets and strap provided with the desk. I used my drill for that. That's all the assembly that was required. I've been using the desk for several weeks now and love the materials used in making the desk. And I love the wide keyboard tray (spans the width of the desk). I was delighted to learn the tray locks into place when extended. I've had no problems or complaints about the desk so far. It will obviously take some time to know whether it's going to be a durable desk but I foresee no problems. So, the desk met and exceeded my expectations, considering the price. It meets my specific needs and, if your needs are similar to mine, I highly recommend this desk. If my experience changes later, I'll update this review.

For the price, this is an excellent piece of furniture. It’s solid wood and easy to assemble. Mine came with a slightly warped top but it’s fine for a computer. There are two (three, see update) minor design issues that could be easily fixed: 1. The table legs don’t lock in the open position and would fold in if the tray isn’t installed. I plan to fix this by drilling a couple of small holes and adding bolts to the legs to temporarily lock them open. (UPDATE 1: never did this, but I did add a small plastic bumper/spacer on one of the legs to make it a bit more solid. See pic) 2. There’s some instability and it wiggles slightly side to side. I fixed this by adding a plywood panel across the rear rectangle. (See pic) 3. UPDATE: the flathead screws that attach the tray rails to the legs can pop through and cause the tray to crash to the ground. Easily fixed with larger flathead screws. UPDATE: After 10 months of solid service, I bumped the tray with my hip and it went crashing to the floor with my keyboard, mouse, and some other stuff. The problem was that two of the flathead screws on the right track had popped through the track, and that caused it to rotate and fall away. The fix was easy: Replace or augment the screws with other flatheads with slightly larger heads. I've attached three pictures: One with my "back panel" mod that improved stability, one showing the left track with both an original screw (to the right of the wheel) and a new larger screw (above the wheel), and one showing the small plastic bumper/spacer between the leg and the top rail. Still giving it 5 stars given the price, aesthetics, quality of the wood, and the ease of fixing the minor problems. UPDATE #2 at 30 months: This desk is still going strong with nearly daily use and my modifications. I made one more upgrade: On the back panel, I also added a couple of inexpensive, stick-on cable management channels/trays. In total, the plywood, screws, and cable channels probably added another $30 to the cost, still in line with the competition. I'm retiring the desk from my use as I've upgraded to a new custom one, but I have no reason to think it wouldn't last for several more years.

Item arrived and was missing screws (I bought the item at a discount from Amazon). When I contacted customer service they were more than helpful and provided me with the means to amend the problem. The wood is very good quality and I'm sure it's going to be a breeze to assemble (only 4 screws and an Allen/Hex Key)--I can already tell it will fold up easy.. The finish on the desk is nicer than I expected based on the pictures. The dimensions are great and actually superior to other desks I inspected while shopping around. This desk is well worth its standard price--I was insanely lucky to get it for the price I paid. I would definitely purchase this item again (and at a higher price at that).

As many have written, this little desk is solid wood with a nice finish. Easy to assemble and very sturdy for a fold-up piece of furniture. Excellent size for my laptop and an external monitor. The slide-out shelf is very roomy - lots of room for my keyboard and mouse. Would recommend to anyone looking for a workspace that doesn't take up a lot of space.
