It's a book I recommend not just for fellows and students...but also for adults, and mostly those who think they know nearly everything about that history: it offers many different hints and points of view. Very nice (black) humour, and a serious inquiry about the worst aspects of war.

These are fantastic history stories....gripping, entertaining and full of info to captivate young minds. My son drifts off to sleep listening to these every night. A real winner as the books are just a little too tricky for him so the CD captures his imagination and although we still read together it takes him on to more challenging stories and is providing him with the love for reading and interesting plots. Also great for putting on to the ipod for time filling moments. Can't recommend highly enough!
