Q: Is this re-branded amazon basics filament? i loved it but can't find it anymore.

I can’t find proof, but it prints as good as hatchbox for me! I loved amazon basics filament before it went away.

Q: Does this PLA have any additives that would prevent it from being food safe?

While not labeled "food safe", I believe annealing the PLA in super fine salt in the oven for an hour would eliminate the porosity most are concerned about for cleanliness. Look up this process on Youtube. Many makers are doing this not only to help with porosity and surface finish, but also strength. This annealing helps the layers stick together better, and packing it inside super fine salt prevents sagging and warping.

Q: Can I buy this filament without the build surface? My build surface is 300 x 300 crx10 so the 200 x 200 wont be enough

Hi the build surface is a bonus, it‘s free so it's there but you can choose not to use it. :P We offer 200 x 200 as a gift is because it's the maximun we can get in the filament box so, sorry for the inconvenience. We will launch easy-to-use build surface soon, 300 x 300 will be available then.

Q: Does this pla contain any nylon or abs? or is it pure pla?

It doesn't contain any nylon or ABS, it's just basic PLA but a little bit tougher than pure PLA to make it not so brittle as pure PLA.
