user-friendly and easy to clean
As someone who loves cooking, I have high standards for kitchen appliances. Recently, I purchased this range hood, and I can’t help but share my experience with it! At first glance, I was immediately drawn to its stainless steel appearance The 90 cm width is very generous, perfectly covering my stovetop area. Its sleek, modern design complements my kitchen style and looks very high-end. Plus, the stainless steel material is not only durable but also easy to clean—just a quick wipe with a damp cloth restores its shine, and I don’t have to worry about grease buildup. The suction power of this range hood really impressed me! My household often cooks dishes with heavy smoke, like stir fried chili peppers or pan fried fish. In the past, the kitchen would always be filled with smoke, but now I don’t have to worry at all. When I turn on the highest speed, the smoke is instantly sucked away, and there’s no smell in the living room. It has two modes, and I chose the ducted mode, which works exceptionally well, keeping the kitchen air fresh. If ducting isn’t an option, it also has a recirculating mode with included carbon filters. What I love most is its gesture control feature! When cooking, my hands are often greasy or wet, and adjusting the fan speed used to leave fingerprints everywhere. Now, I just wave my hand gently, and it responds instantly—so convenient and hygienic! The interface is also very simple, making it easy for even the elderly in my household to use. My old range hood sounded like a tractor when turned on, making it impossible to listen to music while cooking. But this COMFEE‘ model has excellent noise control even at the highest speed, the noise is minimal, allowing me to enjoy music while cooking! As someone who cooks frequently, I dread cleaning the range hood. But the removable filters on this product are a game-changer! I can simply take them off and rinse them with water—so quick and easy. The stainless steel surface also resists grease, and a quick wipe with a damp cloth keeps it spotless. It’s perfect for someone like me who prefers low-maintenance appliances. Overall, this range hood has completely exceeded my expectations! It’s not only powerful but also user-friendly and easy to clean. I highly recommend this product—it’s great value for money and definitely worth the investment!

Cheap but powerful
It is a good extractor hood. Me and my family love cooking. However, the old unit was too weak which makes the detector in the hallway trigger very easily. It is a 650CMH unit and has a build-in damper to stop the draught. It is quite important in a windy winter. It comes with a 6 inch foil duct and some fixings. However, you most likely need to buy plaster board anchors. My home is with a 5 inch outlet. Therefore, I need to buy a 6->5 reducer to complete the install. The installation is rather simple until I want to seal up the joint with the masking tapes at the unit end. It is because the spigot is too close to the wall and electric box. I tried my best and add ties to ensure proper seal up. The lights are at 6500k which I personally don’t like. I prefer 4000k more. It is much more quiet than my old one(standard taper unit). The booster mode will step down to speed 3 after certain period of time. I need to turn it to booster again to complete cooking a steak. I would suggest the manufacturer to remove this feature and simply change it to speed 4. Tbh, I still need to close the kitchen door at booster mode. However, the smell gone right after I finish the cooking. A complete different world. I know there are some 8 inch duct products in the market. However, they are much more expensive and usually you need to find someone to enlarge the outlet. I hope the manufacturer can make a 800cmh unit. A very good looking design indeed and its gesture control is interesting. My family love it.

Looks great, works well
Pre-Arrival: When shopping for this unit I needed to know Chimney Dimensions but could not find them, even manufacturer did not respond with sizes. Would it have been so difficult to provide basic unit dimensions? I have measured and added an image for others reference. I had to eyeball from photos and sketches before ordering the unit because I knew it would be tight but it all worked out, it almost looks made for my space - knowing dimensions in advance would have been much easier though. Installation: The unit installed fairly easily, had to cut off the 3-Pin UK plug to hard wire but that was simple, there was about 1.5m of cable. Lucky I already had a reducer for the 150mm dia exhaust from the unit which easily popped on and then connected to my 120mm flexible exhaust duct. A paper template was supplied for wall fixing with all dimensions clearly marked, I didn't use the template but handy to have. Just pre-drill 5 holes, attach the mounting bracket (simple to attach to the wall with 3 supplied fixings), hook the unit on then remove the grease filter and lock the unit in place with 2 more supplied screws (I would normally use a torque drill to screw in but space was a bit tight, so used a hand screwdriver - no problem really). After removing the old unit it was about a 1 Hr Job but it could easily be done in 30 mins if necessary. Function: Looks great, gives a much more modern look than my previous Stainless Steel brasserie style hood. I wasn't sure how the black glass would look but I'm really happy. It is a small kitchen and the mirror effect of the glass helps create a feeling of more space and the angle design opens up the hob area. Until you find the touch power button nothing is illuminated so it can be a bit tricky to find the On button, once on the unit has an LED downlight (toggled on-off by a touch button) which is OK but not great, gives a slightly blue light which is quite appealing in my view. Activate the fan with the + touch button and select one of 3 settings, reduce the speed with the - touch button and that's about it. In operation the fan is not too noisy, Like all extractors, you can clearly hear it but no worse than my previous unit. During boiling and frying it was clear the unit was working, there is no need to "open" the glass panel (that is only for access to the grease filter) during operation, the fan sucks up through the gap between the fan housing unit and the glass panel. I saw other reviews with pots boiling and steam everywhere, which was concerning, but I use a lid when boiling (to conserve energy) and when I removed a lid from a pot of boiling potatoes I could clearly see the extractor was working. I would keep windows and doors closed when using any small domestic extractor because they struggle with cross drafts. The manufacturer claims 440CMH on Amazon but also states 320CMH, I am guessing it might be more like 320, there was no specification in the manual. The unit has a neat delayed shutdown mode which allows you to shut off the unit and it will run for a short period - great for getting rid of any lingering odours while letting you get out the kitchen and not have to return. Overall: For the price, this looks to be a great unit for a small kitchen. It works as well as my old unit, that died after 10 years, and the new unit is a fraction of the price. Time will tell how it stands up to rigorous domestic use, hopefully it will be another 10 years (or more) until a need to do another Cooker Hood review.

Effective
I recently purchased the Stainless Steel Extractor Hood from comfee, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! The sleek stainless steel design not only adds a modern touch to my kitchen but also proves to be highly durable. The gesture control feature is a game-changer, making it incredibly convenient to operate, especially when my hands are messy from cooking. The recirculating and ducting system works flawlessly, effectively removing smoke and odors from my kitchen. The inclusion of carbon filters is a fantastic addition, ensuring that the air remains fresh and clean. I was particularly impressed by how quiet the extractor fan is, even at higher speeds, which makes for a much more pleasant cooking experience. What really stands out is the ease of installation and maintenance. The filters are easy to remove and clean, and the overall build quality is top-notch. In summary, this extractor hood is a perfect blend of style, functionality, and efficiency. It has truly transformed my kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish kitchen extractor hood. Five stars all the way!

Does the job well but the lighting could be better
I never imagined I'd be waving at my cooker hood, yet here we are. The gesture control is a nice feature, though it can be a bit inconsistent at times. Fortunately, the touch controls work perfectly. The suction power is excellent – it handles steam and cooking smells with ease, keeping the kitchen fresh without being excessively noisy. Even at higher speeds, the sound remains at a reasonable level. Installation was straightforward, though the chimney feels a little flimsy, making mounting slightly tricky. The included filters work well and are easy to clean, though they’ll need replacing every six months. The one real downside is the lighting – it’s quite dim and has a cool blue tone, which doesn’t create the warm kitchen atmosphere I prefer. I ended up swapping them for brighter GU5.3s. Despite these small issues, it has an attractive design and works efficiently. Ideal for keeping the air fresh while preparing a Sunday roast for the family.

not worth the money
I was really disappointed with this cooker hood. It looks modern and stylish, but that’s about where the positives end. The suction power is weak, especially when using it in recirculation mode, and it struggles to clear steam even after a few minutes of cooking. The touch controls are overly sensitive, and the LED light is quite dim. On top of that, you have to buy separate filters, which isn’t made clear in the description. The glass shows every mark and fingerprint, too. For the price, I expected much better performance — honestly, it feels cheap and not worth the money.

Good as a budget buy.
Updated after 3months: I have noticed a small drop of oil always present the day after (not after every use, but enough times for me to notice). I clean my filters at least once a week, the drip seems to come from the motor casing. Not sure if this is isolated to my cooking style, or if it is something else. Also, my filters are already starting to wear out. Photos of the drip and filter attached. ..... Had it for a few months now. So can give a clearer review. 1. The light is fine. Yes it a cool white, but it was bright enough. 2. It is very quiet. I don't know if it's because I'm comparing it to my previous 10yr old one. But this is definitely very quiet. 3. Suction is mixed feelings. I can feel the pull of the air from my kitchen door, but when you are next to it, you can hardly feel it. The only thing I can use to judge is watching the steam and how it moves. The steam will get sucked up if the vent is directly above the pot. Unfortunately because the light is at the front, sometimes the steam will escape from the front (hope that makes sense). When cooking strong steam or smell items you definitely need it on boost. So, overall it wasn't as efficient as I was hoping it would be considering the suctioning spec. However, because it's so quiet, I am more than happy to leave the fan on low for a while after cooking to clear the room. I didn't think I would end up using the wave function as much as I did. It is surprisingly helpful. Installation was simple. One of the reasons why I chose this fan was also because I have limited headroom, and this fan quite a short chimney. The mesh itself is OK. Feels quite flimsy, so will be interesting to see how long they last without damage.
