Great trap, entrence holes are smaller then my silver traps, it seams to stop minnows from escaping witch is fantastic, catches twice the amount then my silver traps that are in the same spot!!! Heavy duttie

This method proved to be highly effective, though it did require some practice to fully understand its operation. Faced with a snake in the pond, I wanted an easy release method once it was caught. Within three days, the trap successfully caught the snake. I was able to transport it safely to a nearby swamp. The design allowed me to simply open the top enough for the snake to slide out and continue on its way without causing it harm. To prevent the trap from accidentally opening during the trip and to the snake’s movements, I secured the top with a bread tie. This precaution helped ensure that even if the snake became very active, the trap would remain closed until I was ready to release it. Overall, this approach provided a safer alternative to handling snakes directly by hand, the way I use to catch them.
