These particular ones, I'm not sure what Food Grade means, but these are a stiff plastic once they are heated. Hard edges on the heated/treated side. Probably keep something very water proof.... I use these for containing small decals I print to prevent stuff happening in shipping. Better than rubber bands if a box opens up en route. Hope this helps.

Not really sure.. think I would use the shrink bags made for baskets.. they are much better sure to larger bottoms. These bags are pretty flat.

I'm sure your touch screen would work, but you may want to think about the heat for the heat gun
