It’s a snug fit for the telescope and offers fantastic protection for it. Its additional pockets allow you to carry accessories all in the same case. It’s great quality, easy to carry around, soft padding, reliable, and a great product to make transportation easier.

I bought the 9.25” bag for my Evolution 8”. This allowed enough length to accommodate the focus motor as well as an eyepiece which I don’t believe the standard 8” bag could accommodate. I can’t imagine removing the focus motor every time you travel with the telescope. The extra size also allows easier insertion and removal of the telescope. Quality and construction is excellent in every way. I would recommend this bag 100%.

This bag is nicely made, sturdy and has extra room for accessories. The main compartment is padded, though it could probably use a bit more. The bag fits "snugly"; there is not a lot of room for the OTA to wiggle but that also means that it takes some effort to get it in. The right bag for a Celestron C11.

This won't save your scope from a drop. You need the much larger and far more expensive Celestron rolling "coffin" case for that (I have one). But this tough skinned, form fitting bag, with ample padding to protect the scope from the typical bumps and bruises of loading into the car and the trip to your observing site, is a lot more practical for daily use. Oddly enough, the wrap around handles and straps on this bag are far more secure and robust than those on the $400+ rolling case. I trust them completely. There's a fair amount of extra strage space on the end cap, separated from the main scope cavity. You can access the scope either by unzipping the end cap and sliding out using the handle on the C9.25 for a grip, or unzip the case lengthwise and maneuver it out the side and bottom end (which also gives access to an inside restraining strap). Again, if you're worried about a drop or heavy stuff rolling on to your scope, you need to shell out the big bucks for the rolling case and put up with the inconvenience of it's considerable size. But for less perilous situations, this padded bag fits the scope perfectly, compactly and offers a good combination of excellent construction, reasonable protection and a bargain price.

used to store a SkyWatcher 150mm Mak, fits nicely. decent amount of padding, though if i were traveling with it i'd wrap the scope in additional padding

Item was brand new in a Celestron box! It did say Amazon on it also, but it was still packaged in a Celestron box. Wrapped in plastic and included the shoulder strap and attached tags. Great bag - very sturdy. Has a double zipper for opening and another double zipper along the side to open it from there. Has another zippered section along the bottom for some accessories. Sturdy carry handles with a velcro enclosure. Price was $20 less in Amazon Resale - and it's brand new. What a great deal! Always check Amazon Resale! It perfectly stores my Sky Watcher 6" tabletop dob.

I like this bag for my 8” Evolution. It looks and feels sturdy and well made and my scope fits fine. The storage pocket on the end can hold a decent amount of accessories. Comes with convenient carry and shoulder straps. I consider it to be a good value.

I got this for my C9.25 SCT. Needed a carrying bag with full zipper to slide the telescope into it easily. I Also wanted to NOT have to remove the 2inch diagonal mirror at the end, and this bag nicely met this requirement. The carrying strap, web handles seem sturdy to handle the weight of the assembly. The materials and padding should be good enough to protect the tube and mirrors. I still will be careful to not ‘bang’ the bag around. It’s far safer to carry like this for field trips. Got the C11 bag for my needs. Length is perfect. The inside strap helps to OTA to stay secure, and good amount of room if you want carry extra padding. Glad I went ‘up a size’. Other reviews said the 9.25 bag was a tight fit so this isn’t a compromise. Now I need to find something for the Mount……appreciate any suggestions!

Me ha gustado el acolchado que tiene. Puedes optar por dos maneras de sacar el tubo , la correa de hombro es un punto a favor. Buenas asas para el transporte. El departamento de utensilios lo bastante grande para los accesorios que necesito. No me ha gustado las cremalleras , tal vez porque son nuevas, van duras y a tirones. Tambien el tubo entra muy justo a lo largo porque tengo salida a 2", pero es suficiente, supongo que con el uso ira extendiendo el textil. Por lo demas una bolsa muy recomendable para mi C8 . Recomiendo su compra . Noos defraudara , calidad de construccion precio inmejorable

De muy buena calidad, supero mis expectativas, compartimentos muy útiles y dentro tiene un cinturón para que el tubo no se mueva. Vale lo que cuesta.

Quality very good well padded and just the correct size for my Celestron 8" . Expensive but so was the telescope, this is one item I did not skimp on. Delivery was from America so took a little time to arrive but not excessive.
