Got this for my dad's 17 dodge ram 1500 tube steps and the fit perfect. He did however, run a small metal screw through the bar and into the cap so as not to lose another one.

Great fit for the running boards on my truck, lost one of the caps somehow and luckily I was able to find a full set replacement

I somehow lost the rear cap of the passenger side running board on my 2013 Ram 1500 Lone Star and purchased these to replace it since it was indicated these would fit my particular truck. While the cap does--technically--fit, it's not a great fit shape or size-wise. I'm okay with having to use a piece of 2 x 6 and heavy hammer to get the cap into the hole (that sucker isn't going ANYWHERE!), but there's a very obvious difference in the size and shape of the rounded end of the cap from the end of the running board. In the pictures attached, you'll see how much better the original cap fits the front hole of the passenger side step bar(please excuse the filth) compared to the next couple of pictures, which show the gap and malalignment of the NewYall cap at the rear of the same running board. For the price paid, they're okay.
