Perfect for Meal Prep, Leftovers and More!
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics Glass Food Storage Containers for a few weeks now, and I’m so impressed! This 14-piece set (7 containers with lids) has quickly become a staple in my kitchen. I cook and prep meals regularly, and these containers make storage so much easier. First of all, the quality is excellent. The borosilicate glass feels sturdy and durable—not flimsy like some other brands I’ve tried. They’re also BPA-free, which gives me peace of mind, especially when storing food for my family. I love that they’re safe to use in the oven (without the lids), so I can go from fridge to oven in one step—huge time-saver! The leak-proof lids are a game changer. I’ve stored soups, chili, and even salad dressings without a single spill. The silicone ring creates a tight seal that actually works. I’ve tossed these into a lunch bag and even stacked them on their sides in the fridge—no leaks, no mess. Cleaning is a breeze too. The glass doesn’t stain or hold onto odors (even after storing curry!). They go right in the dishwasher and come out crystal clear every time. The variety of sizes is super convenient. Whether I’m packing lunches, storing leftovers, or organizing pre-cut veggies, there’s a container that fits perfectly. Plus, the clear glass makes it easy to see what’s inside without playing the guessing game. If you’re looking for a dependable, affordable, and versatile food storage solution, this set is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for meal preppers, busy families, or anyone trying to ditch plastic containers. I’ll probably be ordering another set soon!

Great quality product!
These are great and just what I wanted!! They're not the easiest to open and close because they are tight, but that is what helps keep them sealed!! My daughter has a set and they work the same way. I tested them as soon as I got them. I put water in one, sealed it, and turned it upside down. No leaks!! So far I love them and I love the color!!

Glass Dishes with Plastic Lids. They hold up well
Each dish is made from high-quality tempered glass. It seems to be tempered. I like that it is clear. You can plainly see what is in them from the side. The lids fit nice and snug. There is one for every dish in the set. I found it to keep the food fresh. No drying out, leaks, spills or smells. T They handled the dishwasher and microwave well. They did not warp on the top rack of my dishwasher. I did not put the lids in the microwave and do not think you should as they are plastic. They also worked well in the freezer. They stack easily for storage. I think that these will last a long time and they did not break the bank. Five stars!

Excellent Glass Containers at a Fair Price
These Amazon Basics glass containers are fine--as good, probably, as the equivalent Pyrex containers but costing less. I warmed up Thanksgiving sides in the oven at 250 F. (without the lids!). They'll last much longer than any plastic food storage containers, I believe, as long as I don't drop them and break the glass. But I would have preferred a set of only the large rectangular containers. The others are probably too small for my daily use.

Kitchen mvp
I never thought I’d get this excited about food storage containers, but here we are. The Amazon Basics Glass Food Storage Containers with Locking Lids are the unsung heroes of my kitchen. Durability That Impresses: These containers are made of borosilicate glass, which means they can handle the heat—literally. Oven-safe up to 450°F and safe for the microwave, freezer, and dishwasher, they’re as versatile as they come. The BPA-free plastic lids with blue silicone rings lock in place, making them leakproof and perfect for meal prep or storing leftovers. Sizes for Every Need: The 14-piece set includes seven containers in various sizes: two 1.5-cup rectangular, two 3.5-cup rectangular, two 1.4-cup round, and one 3.2-cup round. Whether you’re storing a hearty stew or a small portion of salad dressing, there’s a container that fits the bill. Easy to Clean: The non-porous glass doesn’t stain or retain odors, and the lids are top-rack dishwasher safe. Cleaning up is a breeze, and they come out looking brand new every time. A Few Considerations: While these containers are fantastic, it’s worth noting that some users have reported issues with the lids not staying shut and occasional chipping of the glass. However, these seem to be isolated incidents and haven’t been a problem in my experience. Final Thoughts: For the price, these containers offer exceptional value. They’re sturdy, versatile, and make meal prep and storage a joy. If you’re looking to upgrade your food storage game, this set is a solid choice.

Excellent Quality Glass Containers — Safe, Sturdy, and Truly Leak-Proof!
I absolutely love these glass food storage containers! They’ve quickly become my go-to for meal prep and leftovers. Safe & Durable: The borosilicate glass feels thick and sturdy, yet not too heavy. I really like that it’s BPA-free, so I don’t have to worry about harmful chemicals when reheating food. No Leaks, Ever: The leak-proof lids are fantastic! I’ve packed soups, sauces, and even salad dressings, and nothing has spilled in my bag or fridge. The seal is tight but still easy to open. Versatile for Cooking & Storing: These are oven-safe (without the lids), which is super convenient. I can bake or reheat directly in the same container and then store leftovers in the fridge — no extra dishes! Easy to Clean: They clean up easily, even after tomato sauce or oily foods. The non-porous glass doesn’t stain or hold onto odors, so they still look brand new after weeks of use. Overall: These containers are high-quality, practical, and perfect for anyone who wants safe, reusable food storage that truly doesn’t leak. Highly recommend for meal prepping, lunches, or leftovers!

Beautifully packed, attractive food storage
These arrived today (Mon, Jan 16, 2023) and very pleased with how well these were packaged for shipping. True to photos and other positive reviews. Once I've used and washed, will update this review as to leaking, cleaning, and durability. So far, so good! One of the main reasons I bought these is that they are borosilicate glass which should be more durable in the dishwasher (though lids are recommended to be hand washed). I do a lot of food prep for both freezer and fridge, which these glass containers are intended for. UPDATE Monday, January 23, 2023: One of the smaller rectangular containers had a defective lid. It was very difficult to take it off in order to wash and use it but I did not get that far because once opened, the blue plastic tabs would not re-close. I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent me a replacement set which I received today (Monday Jan 23, 2023) and in unboxing, the very top larger rectangular container had one broken blue plastic closure tab (see attached photo). The smallest broken piece was sitting on top of the cardboard inner packaging but I had to completely empty the box of all of the containers in order to locate the other two broken pieces, which is important because this tells me that the damage occurred during shipment and not in packing at the Amazon warehouse. Since this is the second delivery of this same item, it was very disappointing but Amazon made good on their customer service and goodwill efforts toward me, and I received resolution on this issue. Amazon has promised me full credit due to the inconvenience of not receiving what I originally paid for and having to contact them several times now about it. Amazon graciously is allowing me to keep and use the rest of the containers which do not seem to have any issues, so far, so good. I have checked them all to be sure, but as you can see, this lid still has the protective plastic wrap on it, immediately out of the box this afternoon. It is a shame that being an Amazon Basics product, that Amazon could not simply replace the defective/broken lids from the first and second deliveries, so that is my only criticism of this process but it worked out well enough in the end. As the glass is borosilicate I can still possibly use the two containers now without lids for baking and maybe a small birdbath on my patio... or something. Sometimes, things don't happen as they should and Amazon rectified the problem to the best of their ability. Thank you, Amazon, for helping me with this issue today. I really appreciate it. Will update once the refund process is completed. UPDATE Wednesday, Jan 25, 2023: I've already used and washed these containers. My new favorites!!! I baked a piece of salmon yesterday in the larger rectangular container after thawing it in same. They wash well in dishwasher but remember to hand wash the lids (some plastics do shrink with too much heat), as some other buyers have verified in their reviews. RECOMMEND

Bad lid design
The glass boxes themselves are fine. They go from refrigerator to microwave and back without any heat stress issues. But the lids are bad. I have to lean on the boxes really hard to get the lids to clip closed. Having to use that much pressure breaks the tabs. One tab broke the first week. After 1.5 years, I only have one functional lid left for the four small boxes. Now I have to decide if I'm throwing them out or covering with plastic wrap or foil. I can no longer use them to take my lunches to work.
