Been taking the herb for years..this is great for an extra boost

Tea was recommended by my dietitian and I'm please with the flavor and it seems to be doing just what it's supposed to do.

The tea tastes awful, like smoke. I wanted to use it because it is supposed to help metabolism.

I've only had this long enough to have a couple cups, so I can't really speak to the benefits that this is supposed to offer as I've noticed none yet. I would point out that this isn't just rhodiola, but is a combination of both rhodiola and astragalus. The box arrived a little crushed, but it was shrink wrapped and all of the tea bags were intact. If I had purchased this to give to someone, I probably wouldn't have given it, due to the crushed appearance of the box, but since this was purchased for myself, I'm fine with it. The tisane itself has a sort of earthy flavor, similar to roasted dandelion, but not nearly as robust. I would imagine that the flavor isn't for everyone, but if you don't mind the flavor of roasted dandelion, then this should suit you fine. I don't like to add anything to my tea usually, but I did find that this one did well with a squeeze of lemon added to it. I had it both with and without the lemon and enjoyed it both ways, but I thought the addition of the lemon was nice. And though I didn't try it, I do think this tea would be easy to blend with other flavors as well, such as mint or rose--and I would keep the addition of lemon to either of these. I would consider buying it again.
