I bought this toy cat to go with my BTS doll. I wanted a toy cat that was under $10 and that represented an accurate 1/6 scale cat (some of Mattel's cats are not accurately 1/6 scale or are too cartoonish to fit the more realistic BTS line.) Shliech cats exceeded my expectations. Their quality is on-par with my usual go-to, Re-Ment: Cats from re-ment and schleich are both realistic, perfectly in-scale, and hand-finished. That being said, not all Schleich cats are of equal quality. The painting on this Maine coon cat is less detailed than that on Schleich's orange barnyard tabby: the eyes aren't as realistic, lack shine, and fur pattern is less detailed. But... this Maine Coon is worth it just because it looks like a jerk. Like, seriously, this is one mean-looking cat! I ended up liking him better than the barn yard cat.
