JCL Vise Jaws - Nylon, Multipurpose 6" - Use on any Metal Vise, Magnetic Reversible Pads, Clamp Flat or Round Products

These are made using a hard material, so be aware if trying to grip very delicate items. But, that is exactly how they are advertised. Magnet strength is good. I used them on a 5 inch vice, so I trimmed a little off both ends. Not ideal, but not a product problem, a vice problem. They still work quite well.

Great. Used on my new 6" Olympia vise I got here. Work great, strong magnets.

First off I bought the 6” because 4” was out of stock and was sent 4” with a 6” tag.I bought these to remove the barrel nut (notoriously hard to remove) on my CZ Scorpion and the soft jaws were great. I don’t know about a magnet in them and honestly could care less about the magnet. I don’t want my guns to get scratched and these jaws prevented any damage and have held up over a few uses just fine.

These vise jaw pads are serviceable seem durable. They fit my vise with 6" jaws perfectly and the magnets hold the pads in place securely. They are well designed with grooves at different angles to hold round stock securely. The nylon construction will not scratch metal items held in the vise. I don't see a reason to buy any other, more expensive, jaw pads.

These work great on my large vise. I've also used them successfully on my smaller vice but only one magnet makes contact on each side. These could be even better if there was a magnet in the middle and one on each end so they would work on smaller vise's.

Glad that I saw these plastic covers for my 6” vise. They are great for protection of sensitive items. The embedded magnets are great as they hold the covers in place.

They look impressive and are tough especially for the price point. The magnets hold very well when vice is tightened. I also use the jaws to hold my fishing poles when I re-line them and work on them.

These are easy enough to install but when you grip something in between them I've had them fall off the vice. While gripping an object I found it helpful to hold them in place with one hand while tightening the vice with the other. I'm on the fence as to whether I want to continue using these or just tossing them in the donation pile. They don't really hold things very secure either.
