I bought a boat that didn't have an on board charger . The previous owner had been laughing out three different chargers and hooking them up with gator clips every time the put it up . I thought this charger was pretty high prices but since I'm most likely going to upgrade to lithium batteries when one wears out I thought I might as well bite the bullet and invest in the future . I was amazed that the packaging was really nice . It looked great . But more importantly it was very secure and protective of the product inside . It was a bit heavy for an old guy lol . But we got it in . I also bought a receptive from the same company . So I have a really nice waterproof receptical that when I back my boat in the garage , I can just grab my cord and plag it in . One plug and my batteries are charging . No worries about over or undercharging because of the smart technology . No worries about what kind of charger to hook to which battery . It does all the work . I know it's hard to put out that hard earned money . But I'd recommend this charger to anybody who's looking . I open one compartment , peek in and the lights tell my everything is in track .

Very happy with the reviews I seen, that wasn't the driving force behind my decision to purchase this charger to replace my current charger that came with my boat. My intention to replace my lead acid and AGM batteries in the boat with Lithium over time I wanted a versatile charger that would cover every type of battery out there. Charging speed is good easy to use. I definitely recommend this charger if you are planning to upgrade.

Decepcionante. Este cargador de 12 V tiene 4 salidas. Una o dos veces al día tengo que reiniciar una o dos salidas, o desconectar y volver a conectar el cargador. Se quedan inutilizables y no cargan las baterías. A veces, el estado indica un error. Otras veces, simplemente indica que las baterías están cargadas cuando no es así. Se dice que se puede dejar activado el modo de carga de las baterías y que mantendrá la carga. No lo hace sin intervención manual diaria.

The charger is small enough but powerful enough to charge all four batteries. 4 of my buddies have bought the same charger. Charges fast. Cables are long enough to run to the bow of the boat.
