If you put the strap over your left shoulder and the bag is hanging on your right hip will the zippers zip from inside out or outside in?

Some will go left to right and others up and down.

Is this big enough to hold a regular camera?

Not sure how big a regular camera is but it holds my fat wallet which is a long one without a problem.

Does this fit comfortably with the bag in the back?

Yes the bag fits well on the back. It is restrictive for what can fit in the different pockets. I find it holds everything I need to carry. Wish it was a little bigger to carry a water bottle. Otherwise it is great.
