Amazing for Night Photography!
I’ve been using CineStill 800Tungsten for a while now, and it’s become my go-to film for shooting in low-light or nighttime conditions. The results are stunning, especially when it comes to capturing mood and color in dark settings.Pros:Excellent for Night Photography: This film really shines when you’re shooting in low light. The high ISO of 800 is perfect for night scenes, and it captures incredible detail even in dimly lit environments. The grain is minimal for such a high-speed film, which is a huge plus.Gorgeous Colors: I love the way this film handles colors at night. The tones are rich and cinematic, giving a unique and beautiful look to night shots. Neon lights and street lamps look especially great, and the colors pop in a way that digital cameras just can’t replicate.Tungsten Balance: The tungsten balance is perfect for indoor and artificial lighting, making skin tones look natural and colors balanced when shooting under certain types of lighting at night.Cons:Daytime Use: If you’re shooting in daylight, be prepared for a noticeable blue tint to your images. It’s designed for tungsten light, so it’s not ideal for daylight without a proper filter. You can still get some cool results in the day, but they’ll definitely have that strong blue cast unless you correct it.Pricey: It’s not the cheapest film out there, but for night or low-light photography, it’s definitely worth the cost. You’re paying for a very specific use, and it delivers on that.Final Thoughts: CineStill 800Tungsten is an incredible choice if you love shooting in the dark or under artificial light. The colors are vibrant, and the overall mood of the photos is unbeatable. Just keep in mind that it’s not great for daytime shooting without filters. If you’re looking for that classic cinematic night-time feel, though, this film is a must-have!

Very nice film, with very blue tones. Great for evening but not really any other time .
A very nice film, that is great for evening, but the tones can be very blue to the point of being unnatural and not versatile in some settings. Personally I prefer Kodak.

Beautiful
My pictures on my Canon Ae5 came out so crisp, no problems with developing and they scanned amazing.

Very specific but cool
Not a huge fan of what it does to the greens, and the dynamic range is not great. But if you’re using this to get that cinematic effect, especially with additional lighting, it’ll be fantastic!

Great nighttime film
I took this on an international trip to film some night city-scape photography. The pictures came out clear and focused on lights very well.
