Ordered the Saw horse around 2pm on Tuesday afternoon and to my amazement it was delivered before 10am the following morning straight from the supplier. I appreciate prime products are delivered next day but didn’t expect this for two to three days. The saw horse really helps when cutting numerous logs. Makes the job a lot safer and far more accurate and easier on the back. No danger of catching the blade on crossbars due to the design and really pleased with the strength of the product. Folds in on itself for flat pack storage. Only little hiccup is when trying to follow the instructions. Assembled as per instructions but had to take it apart again to insert the poles through the bottom wooden boards. Eventually sorted and overall really pleased with it so if you have logs to process definitely give it a go.

Smaller than i thought but does the job, i found only one side would tighten the bolts, other side is loose but still okay. Easier to cut logs than say on a a large log base, i think its worth the money, Forest Master does make great products, i have a few like manual and electric log splitters and all work well, this is a welcome edition for cutting logs in. Another great proucut by FM.

Easy to construct, but unstable when in use. The chains designed to firmly hold logs in place are ineffective.. It folds flat, which makes it easy to transport and store, without take up space

This has been a game changer for me and I only write reviews now if I am passionate or feel strongly about a product. I was a little unsure when choosing it as I was wondering how sturdy it could be for the price, especially with regards to how it mounts on the wooden side rails but I have been pleasantly suprised. I was also a little unsure about the capacity when I unpacked it as the vertical poles were shorter than I was expecting, again pleasantly suprised as to how many logs I get out of it per load. It does make it easier to load with it not being too high though. I did see in the dimensions that the max log capacity width is 450mm, which is more than my chainsaw length (400mm bar but 350mm cut capacity, especially if the saw is behind one of the vertical bars) so I do a main cut as far as I can from one side then finish it off from the other, this works fine. I cut my logs to approx 200mm lengths and usually have lengths of 800mm - 1m which also works well. When it is loaded with logs the weight of the logs also adds to the sturdiness of the frame and the chains are reasonably self locking, I give the logs a jiggle to settle them and push the chain lock rings down too. As you can see in the photos the plastic brackets that fix to the wooden boards allow it to fold flat for easier storage. The construction is all well engineered, with everything being a very snug fit which adds to the sturdiness. It does show in the instruction manual to fit the cross pieces and plastic bits over the bottom of the uprights, then put the feet on but the feet were already fitted and wouldn't come off. It wasn’t necessary anyway because everything fitted over the tops of the uprights instead. It has saved me both time and back ache as I was cutting logs individually at low level before, continuously moving them to cut them which was time consuming and inefficient having to keep the chainsaw running when moving and positioning logs. Totally recommend it, its a far more efficient way to cut batches of logs. I am a home owner log cutter but logs are our main form of heating at the moment, so Im not full time at it but it does make life easier to batch cut.
