I'm a real nerd for techy gadgets sometimes, and the idea of a digital torque wrench was right up my alley. Ultimately though, I couldn't find a digital torque wrench that wasn't made by some alphabet soup company in China, and I prefer to spend extra on my tools in order to ensure that I only have to buy them once. Park Tool has constantly impressed me with the quality of their tools, so I ended up skipping the digital and going with this model (TW-5.2) as well as the larger Park Tool TW-6.2 for higher torque tasks. This wrench may not have a digital display, but I'll pick quality over nerd factor all day long when it comes to tools. I use this wrench all over my bikes, it's easy to change the torque value, easy to see the current value in the display window, and operation is tight and smooth. It just feels great to use. It also has a better range than most, particularly in the low end of the torque range. It's expensive, but it's worth every penny.
