A great all-encompassing guide to the world of Penny Stocks!
★★★★★ from Dave M on July 26, 2017The single best all-in-one guide for people interested in the world of penny stocks. In the world of stock market advice and mentors, there are a ton of players. When it comes to penny stocks, most of the people I have researched to learn from at the beginning were overly arrogant, flaunting how they've made millions and how their students have made millions with little to no transparency and even less believable posted results. Peter Leeds is a different breed. He is down to earth, very transparent with results and a lot more realistic and truthful than 99% of all others out there. This is a review of his book.Peter Leeds is the author of Penny Stocks for Dummies, a book that I can say as a novice to the penny stock game (have been researching for about 8 months now..) I don't think I could have found a better introduction to the world of penny stocks. From the explanations of exactly what a penny stock is, to the possible risk/reward of investing in them in detail, to the trading strategies/technical and fundamental analysis/financial ratios, to how to limit losses ect. This book covers it all. Some of the topics I already knew about in depth and some I was completely clueless to. This book, in my opinion is a must read for anyone that is new or intermediate to the world of penny stocks. Even if you are a pro, I'm sure you would find at least one or two eye opening segments that would be worth your time.My first introduction to Peter Leeds was by stumbling on his Youtube video page, found a lot of great info and advice there, bought the book and was so impressed with it, I subscribed to his site/newsletter. No one single person has enhanced my knowledge of Penny Stocks and the market in general as much as Peter Leeds has, and this book has the most in depth, detailed information that I have read on this segment of the market to date. I am still at the infancy of my trading research and have only been actively trading for a month so, I haven't really lost any money and haven't really gained any ( I am positive $40 on a $2000 account right now truth be told) but I am learning more every day. This book was basically the foundation for what I am expanding my knowledge upon.As for a simple review of the book? Easy 5/5. Incredibly informative and with a more down to earth and transparent take on the world of penny stocks.

A must have for everyone's Penny Stock trading "tool box"!
After watching a half dozen or so of Peter's fantastic videos on YouTube, I found out that he wrote this book so I ordered it immediately. I had a feeling it would be very good at the least, for in his videos he's very clear and informative, and always provides pertinent examples to back up his theories. This book was no different. I can't say enough good things about it. I was familiar with the "Dummies" series and always thought highly of them, but for me this book is the best of them. I'd also like to say to some of you that may be sitting on the fence about purchasing this text, please don't let the "Dummies" title deter you, this book is so full of information, as soon as you finish you'll be reading it again. If you're a newbie or an experienced trader, you'll be learning and refining your trading craft. In closing I'd like to say that I'm glad Peter was chosen to write this book, and look forward to his next writing endeavor.

I can't believe how great this book is!!
I have been buying mutual funds as part of my 401k since being an adult, but haven't dabbled in stocks much. I thought I would try doing stock options first. Well, I realized that if you don't have a lot of money to start with, stock options won't make you much money. While reading this book, I put together notes based on the author's recommendations. I then chose a few of them to whittle down the number of penny stocks on the NYSE. Low and behold, I was left with a manageable number of less than 100. I work the oil and gas industry and so I have some knowledge about that market. Within the smaller number of choices, I realized there was only one oil and gas stock. I then researched the company, which I hadn't heard of before. After my research, I thought...what the heck...I'll give it a shot. In three months, that stock is up over 50%. I bought quite a bit more about three weeks ago, and that new purchase is up 10%. I'm very pleased with the guidance that author provided. I'm getting ready to read the book again and then look for another stock.Very good book for people who know nothing about buying any type of stock.

Information but no real advice on how to invest
Not a bad book especially if you are new to stocks in general. Honestly though nothing here that you couldn't easily learn for free on the internet or Investopedia. Think of it as buying a book that says it will teach you to get a great deal when buying a car and then states "make sure it has doors, an engine, 4 tires, windows...etc." then nothing further. Perhaps it is me but I didn't see real hardcore teaching on how to profitably buy penny stocks that didn't already apply to any other stock other than "penny stocks are more risky".If you are new to trading and want your info in once handheld paper place and don't mind spending $15.00 then this is a good reference book.

GET THIS BOOK!
If you are thinking..."there has GOT to be more that I can do to brighten my financial future?." There most definitely is! Start here.👉 PENNY STOCKS FOR DUMMIES 2nd edition by Peter Leeds is so start forward and easy to understand. Chapters 10, 11 and 13 alone was well worth the price of the whole book. Those 3 chapters, in my opinion, are great foundations for starting your due diligence analysis. The rest rounded it out and brought it on home for me. I'm on my second time reading it. I don't want to miss anything he wants me to know. I've also gifted 2 more copies to loved ones. That's how much I believe it can change your life.
