I absolutely love this pillow!! I don't mean to fangirl out but this pillow was so wonderful after my c-section. It provided lots of support and I was able to bring my baby right up to me without hurting my incision.I was able to keep vitamin D drops, nail file, chapstick and a burp cloth in the pockets. The removable layers are brilliant. It's really customizable so I was able to get a lot of use out of it as my baby grew and we got more practice. Now that I don't need a nursing pillow I took the foam out and use the pillow part for tummy time.I do wish the strap was fully removable because I didn't need it after a while, that's the only thing I would change. I ended up tucking it and zipping it inside as best I could.Also the cover is machine washable! My baby is a spitter so that was incredibly useful. It's really loud to dry with the buckles so I flipped it inside out and zipped it closed to keep the noise down.I wish I'd bought this pillow from the start (I had another that I sent back) it was such a good buy and we can still find use for it now. Postpartum is hard. C-sections complicate things. Nursing can be challenging. This pillow made me so happy in those early days I literally cried about it lol. With some skillful positioning I was even able to eat while nursing, which is amazing when you're starving all the time but only have minutes to spare.

I really like the different layers on this, allow you to adjust to what fits best for you. This is the THICKEST pillow I've found, works good for "small chested" women. I use it to breastfeed while working at a desk. Very comfy cover too.

The boppy pillow always had a lot of hype, so needless to say, that’s what I found out I was expecting. But, the boppy and similar pillows were just too awkward. The pillow didn’t fit properly and it was more of a hassle to hold that thing on me AND the baby. My back would hurt.The Frida mom nursing pillow is GAME CHANGER. It straps around you so it fits perfectly. You can remove layers if it is too high. The baby sits perfect at ta-ta level, so you don’t have to hold your baby much at all. My back no longer hurts. AND I have a little arm rest when scrolling on my phone while nursing at night. This pillow is PERFECT for breastfeeding, especially when you have a bad back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Worth the money.

This is a really nice nursing pillow especially for newborns. There's a lot more support that other pillows (e.g. the Boppy pillow)There are a few downsides:1. The fabric shows spills and spit up very easily2. The waist strap is not removable. Personally, it's too much of a hassle to use the strap. I wish you could remove it or it could be stashed in the pillow somehow.3. The buckle is really difficult to use.4. I wouldn't use this with the inserts at night unless using a cradle hold. When baby is laying in the stiffer flat inserts they can easily roll off unless you have them in a cradle hold. So I wouldn't use it anytime I might accidentally fall asleep.I purchased one open box. It didn't come in the condition that was advertised so I returned that one and bought another one. There are some obvious style differences. The color of the fabric is totally different and the zippers are not the same. I'm not sure if one is just an older version of if one is a knockoff. The insides were both the same.

I brought many frida products in the past. When I purchased this, I was looking for a review that tested the Boppy, Frida pillow vs the My Breast friend pillow. I tried many different positions and levels and the Frida mom pillow didn’t work for us. It’s great for posture correction, but I think it’s best if you were sitting in a hard chair. The reality is I think most moms feed in the bed or couch or rocking chair and the baby doesn’t need to be so high (at least for me), so although it helped my back a bit I could never get the baby in a good position. I also tried both the pillow side and hard side. I prefer the My breast friend as it gives better back support and sits the baby lower so they can feed at an angle without breaking your back. Also the clasp was not convenient when trying to get a hungry baby to feed quickly. The my breast friend is easy to snap in quickly. Lastly I like how the my breast friend pillow is super light weight but also hard enough to prevent the baby from falling asleep too quickly on the breast. Not for us but good clever invention, nice fabric and nice packaging.

this is THE BEST nursing pillow by far i never leave reviews but after over a year of successfully breastfeeding & using this product i am confident it is the best nursing pillow on the market. a good nursing pillow is soooo important for ur breastfeeding journey i originally chose one that was cute over functional & i regret it (snuggle me organic) i just can’t say enough good things about the frida mom pillow. the strap alone is GENIUS! you can walk around with it strapped to you leaving u hands free u don’t have to worry about it moving & falling it’s just perfect. i was worried about it fitting me bc i’m plus size but the adjustable strap makes this perfect for all sizes. i looove the different removable pads for different stages BRILLIANT! i never really used the back thing but it was easy to just remove & use without. the material is so soft & super easy to clean. the pockets!!!! they thought of everythingggg! i think a lot of my success & ease with nursing is bc of this pillow cannot recommend enough! do urself a favor mama & get this pillow!!

So comfortable and perfect size not too big

It is difficult to adjust the strap. I can't seem to tighten it enough that when I put my baby on it, he somehow is between me and the pillow. He is barely on the pillow. It is way too high and bulky for my newborn. To get him to latch properly I have sit super upright without sitting against the back of a chair. It kills my back. The one pro is the pockets they're very convenient. This has my life hard and honestly the boppy works better for me.
