I recently bought new furniture, and my cat was scratching it. We decided to try these and they work perfectly! She can’t scratch the furniture, but she CAN still climb (she even caught a mouse while wearing them). If I cut her nails before applying and use a lot of glue, they will stay on for 3+ weeks. And she looks super cute with her gold sparkly nails!

I recently bought very expensive furniture, a new couch, a new dinning table set with nice fabric backs...and my cat has decided to claw up and destroy everything. I've tried deterent spray, pheromone diffusers, sticky tape....nothing works. These claw caps are the ONLY thing that has worked for me!! I understand why some people may not give them 5 star reviews because there is a proper technique to putting them on, but once you got that down...problem is solved! What I did was buy a nice pair of nail cutters (better than the ones from petco) and a blanket cat wrap. I wrap my cat up like a burrito and literally sit on her on the couch so she can't squirm away. Then I trim all her nails. You do a small drop of glue in the nail caps and slide them on. You HAVE TO cap the dew claws too! Or else they can still wreck things!! Next I get out toys or the laser pointer and play with her for about 10 min to distract her. I figured this out because she would chew them all off right away when I let her go before and that was frustrating. After that method I learned, my expensive couch is saved!! Caps are cute, she is able to retract them fully, they are soft to touch, and they stay on for a few weeks. One or two will fall off over time as her nails grow and it takes about 1 min to put them back on. And I can do it all by myself without a 2nd pair of hands. 10/10 saved my sanity.

My cat is bad about scratching till his hair falls out and he has blood on his face and eyes. I've taken him to the vet but as soon as the meds are done hes back to scratching. I got these so he wouldnt do so much damage to himself. I only put them on his back feet since that's how he scratches, so these have lasted awhile. The only problem is they are a bit small. I got the medium since he is just a tabby. Hes kinda big probably about 12lbs maybe a little more. But even after cutting his nails they're very tight and he didnt like them being pressed on one bit. After a 2 weeks he had all but 4 of them off but I just replaced the missing ones. He already looks way better and his hair growing back. He can still scratch but doesnt cut himself with his claws anymore. I'm sure I'll buy these again just in the large next time.

Have used product now for 3 months. Have learned: 1) Soft Claws and Soft Paws are same company. Have used both. 2) Fit is never perfect. Mediums are too long for my cat. Smalls are too tight (her nails can't extend into the cap tip). She is 10 lbs. Am staying with medium and cutting them down. Otherwise both sizes extend past her natural nail and I assume that is uncomfortable. 3) The first time applying them to my cat, most of the caps shed off quickly (within 3 weeks) but later applications are lasting 4 - 6 weeks as advertised. 4) She is fine with product and can relieve her tension on a scratching post as normally.

I’m a vet tech. I buy these out of pocket to offer to cat owners before they resort to a declaw procedure. I began this after I started fostering (and eventually adopted) a cat that doesn’t get along with my dog, and since I wouldn’t put my cat through a declaw I decided to try this product. The Soft Claws have prevented many injuries in my house. I’ve been doing it for a few months, and so far I’ve been able to persuade every owner. It’s been so successful that I’ve convinced the hospital owners to add Soff Claw applications to their list of services.
